Service has been excellent, but I am a little worried for four reasons: (1) The doctor in the video I was shown does not show up in certifications matters search: search for: certification matters find my doctor I was able to find him using the NPI number the web site provided, but he was not associated with the state in which Brightmeds claimed him to be licensed in. I also did not find a medical license reciprocity agreement for my state and the doctor's practicing state. I did discuss this with my assigned doctor, and he readily admitted he was board certified in Emergency Medicine in the other state, and not mine. I followed up with Brightmeds Quality Assurance and they sent me a link to the proof he was licensed in my state: Excellent. (2) Eli Lilly has publicly stated that it does not supply Tirzepatide for compounding: search for: eli lilly open letter regarding use mounjaro tirzepatide and zepbound I did find a company called Biotech Peptides that does claim to manufacture it with high purity and supply it in bulk to compounders. There are several others in the US. I spoke with a representative at the Beaker Pharmacy and confirmed they buy their Tirzepatide as bulk powder from a third party. Eli Lilly disclosed the structure of Tirzepatide and their process for manufacturing it in their US Patent, US9474780, which was issued 10-25-2016. Other manufacturers are producing it, and there have been court disputes filed against third parties. I spoke with Brightmeds Quality Assurance, and they showed me how the Compounding Pharmacy is regulated through State Pharmacy boards, and the suppliers of Tirzepatide are regulated by FDA manufacturing law. This was resolved in my mind! (3) None of the reviews for this company, Brightmeds, go back before April 2024. The company ownership also does not seem to have a medical background. I spoke with Brightmeds quality assurance, and they told me that the Trustpilot account is only a few months old; not the company and sent me some more information on their Chief Medical Officer, and their requirements for prescribing doctors. I feel much better about this now. (4) The company is using deceptive pricing behavior, trying to get you using the drug before they tell you the monthly price going forward, which escalates as the dosage increases. Maintenance costs after weight loss are a concern, since clinical trials show weight is regained if drug use is discontinued. I spoke with Brightmeds Quality Assurance about this, and they explained that the $575 price with a slash through it for the first month is their price forward and apologized if this was not clear. They promised to follow up on this. ------ At this time, Brightmeds has addressed almost all of my concerns, but I wish more had been clearly explained on their web site, because this whole method of getting weight loss health care is a bit scary.

A bit of a wait for medication, but delivered safely and directions were understandable. Just first week so can’t really see any weight loss. Will keep you updated.

I'm leaving four stars because I only just started with Brightmeds. The online appointment was easy to follow and complete. The account set up was streamlined. I'm only on week two so new to the process. Look forward to the future journey!

One start docked because Brightmeds is not the best value. There are others out there who use the same pharmacy and charge significantly less. Overall a positive experience and fast service though.

Service has been great! Only problem is as the months go on they want me to pay sooner and sooner. If you don't they will automatically charge you for the same dose. This past time it was 10 days sooner than the month before.
