The app and pc browser are mediocre at this point in time. I have used Brave for around 5 years and now I am looking to switch. The app has a bug where it doesn't let me search in the browser or cancel a tab without restarting the app. Plus, password saving hasn't been saving/updating everything well lately. I use chrome for work and brave is blocking websites out so I have to use regular chrome for now. Now the brave browser on my old pc is chugging and unwilling to work fast as it once did. I don't support their crypto ads nor do I trust their vpn. I will probably move on to Firefox for now as a main browser.

We switched to Brave from Chrome about a year ago because it was just as fast and had extra privacy protections but since then it has steadily deteriorated, much much slower, sometimes freezes and has to be re-booted. What a shame. So we are now spending more time on the Edge browser and will probably gradually switch to Edge. What a shame!

Problema risolto, dooop quasi 2 mesi. 3 stelle definitive. ---- The search data is out of date: several weeks ago the webmaster deleted a page with my personal data. But such a page still appears in Brave searches. There is no outdated content removal tool like for Google or Bing and despite writing, no one responds. Very bad for those who pride themselves on protecting privacy! Never again!

* mon problème c'est réglé tt seul, du coup je revois ma note, et Brave reste un des mes navigateurs que j'utilise le plus. Mon problème : quand j'allais sur mes récompenses la plateforme Brave ou plutôt Uphold qui me disait que mon identité n'était pas vérifié alors que Mon KYC était correct et toutes mes infos étaient bonnes. 3 ans plus tard c'est good ! ;)

At first glance Brave was an amazing browser, all the built in privacy features and smooth workflow really appealed to me, except for the fact that the smooth workflow isn't always a reliable factor with Brave. Some websites take extremely long to load on Brave (where as those same sites load within a second in Chrome). Gmail, a website that I frequently use is one of them. In the best case it would take 20 seconds to load, but usually it takes 30-60 seconds, or it freezes completely, forcing me to close the tab and try again. Some websites, like the easyjet website for example, don't work at all on Brave. There are some other sites that I encountered that also frequently freeze or take extremely long to load. I already tried stuff like deleting browser data and such, the problem still occurred. So eventually I decided to move back to chrome. I love privacy, but I love a good workflow even more, right now I combine that with adblockers and such to create a Brave like experience. Probably not as private and secure as brave, but the gain in speed is worth it for me. I had so many moments with brave where I'm in an online meeting and everybody sitting there awkwardly waiting for me to look something up in an email that won't load. The whole concept of Brave is amazing, but they really need to fix these issues for me to consider using it again.

I've recently started using Brave because of its special 'no adverts' policy, and honestly? I love it. I've saved atleast 5 years of my life avoiding the annoyance and teeth gritting pissed-offness (for lack of a better word) that pre-roll adverts subject me to. And while that's great and all, I do have a few problems, Firstly, the browser fails to close tabs. I've found that even after I exit a particular website by clicking the X button, whenever I open the browser again, I'm lead to the same tabs. It's not a major problem per say, but it is annoying and I definitely prefer microsoft edge over this. Another thing, the layout of the browser is a bit unorganised and I much prefer searching things on Chrome than subjecting myself to the ugly fonts (sorry not sorry!) That's pretty much it I guess, definitely a great browser otherwise!

Ottimo browser, ma pessima la gestione del portafoglio. Impossibile avere un minimo di supporto. Pochi bat accumulati in mesi svaniti nel nulla dopo la verifica del portafoglio. Nessun modo di recuperare i bat vaporizzati o avere spiegazioni. Oltretutto non tutti gli spot visualizzati vengono conteggiati nell'accumulo di 'bat' . L'idea era ottima ma si sta arenando.
