I signed up for the vpn and even though they've been taking money for it I can't log in as required. Sounds like a rip off to me.

This browser is a hungry browser it eats my ram my cpu my disk EVERYTHING I recently installed opera gx to help fix the problem Now, My cpu and ram and disk usage are low Fork you brave!!!!

I går har jeg opsagt vpn delen, som jeg aldrig bestilte og ikke begyndte at bruge. I dag modtog jeg 2 ens regninger på 70 kroner, ved ikke for hvad? Jeg kan desværre ikke finde en måde at afklare sagen med kundeservice, det er åbenbart umuligt.

Ich bin von Brave maßlos enttäuscht. Plötzlich ließ sich keine zweite Instanz des Browsers mehr öffnen. Ich hatte wahrscheinlich etwas gelöscht, was der Browser zum funktionieren brauchte. Ich machte ein Inplace Upgrade für Windows 11, was die Dinge aber nur noch verschlimmerte. Ich hatte keinen Zugriff auf meine Datenträger mehr und das Betriebssystem lief im Kriechgang. Eine zweite Instanz von Brave konnte ich jetzt öffnen, aber das nutzte mir nichts, da ich kein Laufwerk öffnen konnte. Da kam mir die rettende Idee. Ich spielte ein älteres Backup von einem externen Datenträger ein und habe jetzt wieder Firefox als Browser. Dabei bleibt es jetzt auch. Ich habe in Firemin Einstellungen verändert und damit ist Schluß. Ich bin heute stundenlang vor dem PC gesessen und so einen Stress mit Brave werde ich mir nicht nocheinmal antun. Fazit. Läuft zwar gut, wenn man das Glück hat, alle Einstellungen richtig hinzukriegen, ist aber sonst nicht zu gebrauchen.

I switched to the Brave browser almost a year and a half ago due to persistent adverts ruining most every website I visited, and highly intrusive YouTube ads. For the most part, it's worked really well for those things... until recently. In fact, it's been over the last month. Once Brave has been open a while, the address bar stops responding and it's not possible to search anything. In addition, the Norton password vault isn't responding to the mobile unlock feature. It sends the request, I receive it, and approve, and... then nothing happens; the vault doesn't unlock, so I have to put the password in... only for Brave's search bar to stop responding a bit later, so I have to close it, restart it, and then unlock the vault the same way all over again. This is happening 2-3 times a day. Yes I've uninstalled and reinstalled the extension. I have a lot of saved sites on the browser, so I'd rather they try to fix this bug (which has clearly come from a poorly coded update) before I try reinstalling it. I'm giving 2 stars (down from what would have been 4 or even 5) only because of the largely ad-free experience. EDIT: Dropping down to 1 star because they've STILL not fixed the address bar (where it stops working after a while so needs to be reset and then I have to log into my password vault yet again, which is also not working properly since this problem started). It's a shame as I really used to like Brave for blocking annoying ads.

Brave hat mein Laptop kaputt gemacht: Der VPN hat sich auf meinem Firmenlaptop einfach so mit installiert, läuft im Hintergrund und blockiert jetzt alle anderen Netzwerke (WLAN und LAN), die zwar verbunden sind aber jetzt keine Verbindung mehr herstellen können. Ich kann den Dienst auch nicht deaktivieren, weil ich ja kein Netzwerk habe und kein Administrator Passwort eingeben kann. Der VPN startet immer von alleine beim Startup mit, das heißt es gibt keine Möglichkeit den Dienst irgendwie zu deaktivieren.

Brave's mobile browser has gotten worse after multiple months. It has become a scam at this point when its developers ignore people's complaints. So, nothing gets fixed. I can no longer log into Outlook or Gmail with Brave's horrible mobile browser. I get an error message from Gmail. When typing the Outlook link, it no longer shows the webpage. It's only a black screen. On top of that, I hate downloading things from Brave's mobile browser. There's no organized way to make downloads download from a particular folder on Brave's mobile browser. Instead, you can only put downloads in your phone's Download folder. Which is a pain. Another pain is that you cannot rename files before downloading them from Brave's mobile browser. So, I hate Brave's mobile browser because it's not organized. Another thing I hate is that Brave's mobile browser's desktop site option doesn't work. You don't really get a desktop version of sites with Brave's mobile browser. It's just an illusion. Brave's desktop browser lets you do a lot more things. I never have any problems on Brave's desktop browser. So, Brave's mobile browser is a total ripoff and scam, especially when its developers ignore people's complaints. So, nothing gets fixed from Brave's mobile browser. You might as well use Firefox's mobile browser instead.
