BravadoReviews of bravado.co

Was directed here to apply for a job. There was no job application. There is no record of me applying for any job. This site is trash.

Bravado is a terrible system for applicants, especially for any non-sales specific roles. You MUST enter sales information to continue making a profile, if you are not applying to a sales position and have never done sales you cannot continue with your application, they only show you roles that THEY think you are qualified for, you cannot apply to roles that YOU want to apply to, and they ask for personal information like current salary and sales deals that might fall under NDA. I would give this a 0/5 if possible.

So you need to create an account with Bravado if you want to "apply" to the job you found online that they are advertising. Annoying, but not uncommon. However, in order to create a Bravado account, they require access to ALL of your Google contacts. Why on earth would you need that level of access to my information, just to create an account? If you choose to actually do this, you're then asked to upload your resume. Once that is uploaded, they require you go through your work history, role by role, and provide the name of the specific client, the specific stakeholder, and what specific product you sold them, and when. They try and play it up like potential employers find specific examples of success appealing in their candidate evaluations, blah, blah, blah. I'm sure there isn't a bunch of slimey sales "professionals" at Bravado NOT poaching my professional contacts or sales history information for their own personal lead gen activities. Sure, this is probably all legal, but this company is trash, and all they are after is your sales contacts.

Borderline scummy practices, but on the wrong side of the line. Subscribe to get weird offers by email, be part of a rotten “Wolf of Wall Street”-mindset community, get invited to cult-like events, be asked to share private info from your company for fantasy rewards, when the whole website is a copy of Reddit’s /r/sales.

Bravado is like the Hotel California, you can check in any time you like but you can never leave. There is no way to delete your account online and their terms say that you have to give them 14 days written notice to delete your account. Unacceptable. What are they afraid of?

I am a recruiter at a software company. Recently a candidate messaged me asking about a sales job posted on Bravado that claimed we hired in Canada, asking me for more information. We do not hire in Canada, are not currently hiring SDRs, and we've never worked with Bravado. This company is fraudulently representing us to the market in job posts that don't explicitly use our name but provide a slightly anonymized version of our company description and founding story and claim the post was created on behalf of us a client. I would strongly urge caution to any candidate applying to the jobs posted on this site. I don't know what would happen to your information if you applied via Bravado, but you would not be speaking to a recruiter or hiring manager at the actual company you think you're applying to in this case.

Why on earth do you need access to my gmail contacts? Ridiculous..

I received an invitation to join Bravado pretending that the invitation was from my University, faking also the sender. A shameful way to hook new subscribers.
