I would not give a single star, but unfortunately that’s not the choice I am given here. The whole country needs to boycott this brand. My 13 years old daughter went to Georgetown store in Washington DC and purchased two items that actually were very poor quality and didn't fit. Nowhere in the store she saw the return policy. That was her first trip to the store . only after she paid she got the receipt which stated what the return policy is which is ridiculous because you need to know your rights before you buy something. Their customer service is insulting as well. I keep calling their main office and they hang up as soon as they recognize my voice. This situation is simply ABSURD. I cannot believe that it's happening in this country. You buy something over apparently low quality and then you cannot even return it for your own money back. #boycottbrandymelville

Brandy Melville has apparently closed fitting rooms at stores nation wide, the store I went to had no mirrors in the whole store (which I have to think is intentional) and doesn’t allow you to try things on (like a jacket) over the clothes your wearing. When I tried to do this, three employees and a security guard came up to me to alert me to this policy before I even had a chance to take it off. They also won’t allow returns except for store credit. I used to love the store but I won’t be shopping there anymore!

Horrible sales girls. Very entitled and extremely rude! We have shopped here three times and spent hundreds of dollars here and will never shop here again. The Scottsdale Fashion Square store is The WORST! From Dressing room closing early, the socks and underwear they took from us so we wouldn’t try them on (like who would try them on anyway) and put them back on the shelves/racks, walking away from the register to chat for five minutes while in the middle of ringing up our order, associates who can’t speak up or speak clearly and then get rude and make faces when we don’t understand them… This place is a mess! Take your hard earned money elsewhere!

Seems very scammy. They don’t let you try on the clothes, everything is one size, and the return policy offers store credit only. The store practices are both rude, disrespectful, and discriminatory. Although the clothes are fashionable and cute, the ethical concerns, exclusionary branding, and business practices have caused us to shift our business elsewhere. We recommend other people look into this, too. It’s just not a good company to support.

The brandy store in Nashville will not let us have our fitting rooms and try anything on because of one person that vandalism yes I understand why they did that but at the same time it’s not fair for 1000 to 10,000 people that did not steal anything at all I just find it very unfair for the people that don’t even do vandalism at all thank you that just a waste of people idea of outfits if they can’t even try it.

I was sold a ripped shirt. I never expected for BM to have ripped clothing in store and wasn’t even able to try it on, so I didn’t notice at first but when I brought it home to wash, I noticed the damage and emailed customer service requesting a replacement. They told me because the item was outside the seven day window (by two weeks) there was nothing they could do. While I understand the need to adhere to policies and procedures, I believe many of their policies and procedures are extremely unfair and unfriendly. This was an issue that they were responsible for and there was zero customer service or effort to rectify it.

Absolutely appalling experience in this store. The Malibu location seriously needs to be held accountable for deceiving and lying about their return policy; today, they refused to give me store credit for an item purchased online simply because the tag (which I had on hand) wasn’t attached to the pant leg. Then, we went to the Westlake location and they did the return no problem, since we had the tag and the receipt email. They even reassured us that the people working at the Brandy Melville in Malibu were making stuff up about how the “new policy” mandated that returned items have the tags on. The lack of consistency was ridiculous, and I’m glad there are some honest employees of this company out there (in Westlake). I’ll definitely be reporting them to the business bureau, because that was a total lie.

Terrible store and policies. My daughter bought a shirt…because there are no change rooms didn’t notice there was a hole in the fabric. Tried to return but the sales associate said we needed to go through customer service online. Customer service eventually said we could return “as a one time gesture”. So we had to go back to the store. And only received store credit. I attempted to try on a hoodie in front of the only mirror they had in the store, and the sales lady told me off saying I wasn’t allowed to try over my clothes. So we left. The store is trying to steal from teens by having ridiculous return policies. It’s super gross and I’ll never let my kids shop here again.
