I hired them through LinkedIn. First call, the guy was very rude, but I decided to give them a chance. Resume writing was below average, and I have not heard back from them about the Linkedin profile. I should have read the reviews first. I enrolled trough Klarna. My own resume looks better than what they did. How do I get my money back?

The worst company ever
The worst company ever, please don't hired them I received my linkedin profile last night and it was sad to see the poor quality. Is more marketing, they don't have customer service skills nor interpersonal qualities. It was a complete waste of money $400 for an Aspiring Professional Resume. I went through a lot of stress with this company.

Please don't waste your money here
Please don't waste your money here. All of the reviewers who give them 5 stars are anonymous and all of them have the same grammatical errors. Please stay away from this person's scam. He's trying to build a business in an area that he knows absolutely nothing about and is just preying on other people's time of need.
Once purchased the communication becomes robotic at best - a couple of predetermined form fields to fill-out online. No 1:1 discussion with the actual resume writer, no review of the said writer's expertise in your particular field or seniority level.
The dates are just a shot in the dark - they will tell you it'll take between 7-10 business days, and even if it's 14 business days, they'll still try to force their hand.
They do nothing but to change the format on the resume as they have no content to add. Please PLEASE go for another business and stay away from these guys. I'm so very deeply disturbed by them my next stop is the BBB!

If I can help one person dodge this one...
This is one of those online businesses that rely on their marketing and sales skills and not their resume writing and industry knowledge skills.
Plenty of promises with practically no delivery. If you’re entry level and have never updated your resume based on any feedback then they could help you. But beware they will take weeks if not months to provide you anything usable on a job hunt. So you’d have to be entry level and planning on taking time off from job hunting too. Not to mention they will require you to make grammatical and spell-check corrections on-top of making sure the writing even makes sense. Now we have their client profile: entry level, in no particular hurry for job hunting, and has plenty of time to do the editing for them. Otherwise please go with an individual resume writer.
To address the “excellent” ratings the company is claiming previous customers gave their product: They have an internal online system that you have to use and rate the drafts as bad, good, or excellent so that the resume is finalized. It’s not that you’re agreeing the resume is excellent, cause it’s not, it’s the term they use for their “final version” indicator. You have to provide all your feedback on this platform in a text box manually, they don’t use online doc sharing - cause you know then you have version control and see how much of the final version you actually ended up writing.
And then there’s the whole sales claim that they never use templates and always have a person that creates everything tailored to your specific situation. And one of the first things you get access to is a template for a Cover Letter, Follow-up and Thank you documents. You can do better just googling one that’s been used in your field before and adjusting the relevant sections. They tell you that the cover letter is proven to work - am yet to get a single call back.
Then you also keep getting sales emails from them even when you’re in the middle of the process!
These near-scam like resume businesses should be outlawed and owners severely fined. It gives the industry a very very poor reputation when there truly are some very decent ones out there. Go individual and not company.
Attention job-hunters and resume writing expertise seekers:
Make sure to ask your industry specific questions, ask over the phone the keywords they’d put on a resume for your industry and make sure you hear a straight answer and not a sales pitch about how there is an amazing team behind the guy you’re speaking to. Insist to see a specific resume they delivered in your industry that is not available on their website. And for the love of all things under the sun, if you do still end up using them please pay by Klarna and not direct to them, at least you’ll have a chance to dispute and get your money back.
Just wish I could give them 0 stars.

Take Your Money Elsewhere
I have gotten significantly more interview requests and follow-ups when submitting my own resume than the one Brandresumes drew up for me.
You end up having to write, edit, and correct most of the resume yourself.
I don't think my writer had much industry knowledge.
The Cover Letter, Follow-Up, and Thank you Letter templates could all be found for free on Google - nothing special there.
The LinkedIn updates are useless and the job board postings haven't returned a single result, and its been 3 weeks.
I made an account on this website for the sole purpose of trying to help someone else avoid the mistake I made

Read before you buy: Product Quality is Poor
I ran across the Brand resume team via a podcast that was being streamed on instagram--I liked what I was hearing. Therefore, soon after trying to connect with a representative via the site's chat feature (which was horrible) and conducting some surface level research, I was encouraged to purchase the Aspiring Professional Package. Unbeknownst to me, the company had a 40% bad/poor quality rating. However, it did not take long for me to understand why. In fact, it did not take long from me to determine that the representative and consequently the company lacked the skillset to develop an effective resume for my industry. However, this revelation required me to rate the product as excellent--which was merely semantics. Soon after reviewing the final product, I sent an email and also communicated my frustrations with the resume writer--requesting a refund. The request was ignored as I was informed of the 90 days I had to request any corrections for the mentioned resume. When I communicated the barrier was less about content and more about the lack of industry knowledge from the resume writer, the call was abruptly ended. I then reached out to PayPal to request a refund. PayPal ruled in the company's favor, not because the quality was as awesome as promulgated but simply because a resume was delivered. So now, I have spent 250 dollars on a resume template and LinkedIn profile that I cannot use because it reflects a knowledge/skill gap that would disqualify me for any potential employers. I can't iterate enough how lackluster and generic the resume was. In fact, I believe the actual product goes against the message that the team is promulgating as its related to the job seeking process. For instance, In their FAQ, it reads, "One of the mistakes job seekers make is creating a "jack of all trades" resume"--and this is exactly what they did for me. Please do your research and ask industry specific questions before conducting any business with this team. In fact, unless you're in the business industry, I wouldn't conduct business with them at all.

Hi Art,
You submitted a dispute case to PayPal, and they decided the case was in our favor due to your insignificant proof to back your claim . You rated your resume as excellent and signed off on your documents. We operate at excellence here at BrandResumes.com. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience, good luck and take care.

Buyer Beware
It's been 3 months and all I received was a draft I practically wrote from my questionnaire. I've tried contacting them through their platform and LinkedIn with no response. It wasn't until Klarna contacted them did the owner sent me some screenshots of the writer trying to contact me, which I didn't get any email notifications. I asked for the $399 package and all I received was a poor draft. He's a complete fraud that uses LinkedIn for self promotion. I wish I read these reviews first. My next step is to contact my credit card company. Don't waste your money. There are reputable resume companies out there.
After a thorough investigation, Klarna refunded my money and canceled the order. This was the worst business transaction I ever experienced.

Promises with no delivery
Amed contacted me over the phone during the time scheduled. We spent 15 min talking and decided on the $399 package for resume and LinkedIn profile. I went on the website and paid. Few days later filed out the questionnaire and uploaded my resume. Then everything went dead. No contact for 7 business days. After asking for refund, I got a "writer" assigned. It seems the person looked at my resume for 10 min and wrote some nonsensical questions back. The contact went dead again. 20 days later and nothing has been provided.
