It takes more than a month for me to get the final draft. The service provider required you to check the grammar and spelling error yourself and point out each detail you want them to correct, and they will correct based on what you told them. I wasn't expecting to pay for the service and have to do 50% of job myself.

Overall, for the price I was really disappointed. I was looking to convert my 7 pg CV to a 2 pg resume and the first attempt was a total failure. It took around 2weeks for the first draft and it was clear that the writer was not familiar with the pharmaceutical industry. When I contacted the team with my complaint, they were very responsive and generated a good resume (thus 2 stars instead of 1), but as far as the LinkedIn profile recommendations I was again very dissatisfied. Basically, they recommended changing my title to roles that I do not yet have and copying over bullet points from the resume. I could have done that myself! Not a lot of thought went into the profile recommendations, it looked like a copy/paste into a template. Complete waste of money in my opinion.

I was expecting more. A tad bit disappointed.

The resume writing portion of this service was good, but the resume distribution element was done poorly. In some instances, the career site that was supposed to get my resume did NOT in fact get my resume - instead a profile was created containing no information about me. So, I'm getting notifications/messages that have no relevance to me. Brandresumes also got elements incorrect for the resume distribution. I am looking for a permanent position but instead, the various sites have it noted that I'm looking for a contract position. So, the resume distribution portion was a waste of money as now I'm having to fix all the different sites.

Got no calls for interviews

To be honest I do not feel like the work done was worth the amount I paid at all. Not sure if it was because I was looking for a STEM job and the writers were not familiar with that topic but it was not very successful for the amount that I paid. I feel like writers should be a little more honest in their capabilities of writing rather than to being money hungry. We spend the money trusting these professionals to produce good branding but unfortunately that did not happen for me. However the writers were very kind and open to speak to.

I’ve been applying with this new resume and even though I do think it looks great. I am not having any call backs or interviews. I don’t think it was worth the $250.
