Something is off about this company. Someone called isabel resched out to me on linkedin messages and i booked a call with her. I got a call 15 min late from a guy called brandon and said isabel had an emergency and he will take the call. I couldn’t take the call and ran into a meeting. I said i will reschedule. I did so again and then brandon called late again and said isabel cant make it because of an emergency. We spoke for 5 minutes and it seemed kind of off and he was trying to make me pay over the phone for the resume service and i said send me a Link and ill pay later. I booked a 3rd call just to see and brandon called and said isabel was in an emergency again. This seems like a scan to me.

Not worth your money. The resumé was returned with grammatical errors and elementary writing. It felt like the work was outsourced and no one reviewed before sending to me. Not a good experience and wouldn't recommend.

Had a scheduled appointment for an initial consultation, however they were extremely late and when they got on the phone I said I didn’t have much time and he got annoyed. If your going to charge 300+ for services I would expect better customer service. At the end of the call he said he would email me with further information and never did. Use a different company if you want these services, their is plenty out there.

The writers were good and diligent.. the process and hub were awful.. a $400 expense was worth $100.. they do not post anything they tell you details on how to post yourself.. and you basically write your own resume with their help.. its not what is supposed to be and not worth the money!

Regarding the customer service - Brandon was responsive at first during the initial interview process. He then handed off the actual resume writing to someone else who was also responsive at first but after two rounds of edits, essentially disappeared. I was totally left on my own. After receiving no responses for weeks after multiple follow ups, I called Brandon, he apologized and linked me with yet another writer (not Brandon himself). This person merely altered a few sentences, not implementing the feedback I had previously requested. No reformatting was made to the resume, they just insert what they feel is pertinent info. For the price I was expecting a full, new layout (this never happened even after requesting). Bullet points were all task based, not outcome based, which did not garner any additional attention to my resume. Also, no major development of SEO keywords as promised = No major uptick in response from employers. All in all this service was unreliable. The product is no where near what you should get when paying someone to optimize your resume. The service leaves so much to be desired. Would never spend my money here again. I advise you look elsewhere for a resume writer, 100%.

Resume writing took twice the promised timeline. All of the questions I answered from the writer were either taken verbatim, or not incorporated at all. The resume had valuable things removed and tons of grammatical errors after six revisions. I basically did the resume myself and emailed my writer to give them the one to finalize as I was exhausted trying to convey things without having then incorporated. LinkedIn profile never came until I contacted them twice, at which point I already did it myself. The distribution portion also never happened automatically and required me to once again reach out. For the all-star package and the cost, it's only worth it if you'd like a basic formatted resume. Bland, and the writing and cusotmer service is terrible. Definitely wish I would have read more reviews and hired someone else. Called them three more times afterward to try to work things out, they refuse to respond to any communication. I also have not had any jobs applied for as promised. The service is a joke. There are far better options for far less money, don't take the bait. It's not what it's sold as.

I used BrandResumes when I began my job search. I purchased the advanced professional package. My writer began the process, and the resume was very, very bland and basic. I asked for a rewrite and was told that her product was fine as is. That was the first issue. As I waited for what seemed to be a very long time, I ended up getting a job using my own resume, and emailed their customer service to request a refund for the resume distribution and LinkedIn profile customization. I got nothing back both times. I then messaged the owner on LinkedIn, to which I was told I “already used the service.” Unfortunately, I did not, and will not ever use this service again. I recommend you going on LinkedIn and using other resume writers, or consultant a friend before you use this service. Very expensive for very little.
