I had a procedure done many years ago, they didn't tell me or warn me have someone when you're going to sleep at night your scalp might get itchy and unconsciously you might itch your scalp where grafts are and scratch many grafts out while sleeping. then many years later since this occured I wanted to get the micro tattoo pixel dots in my scalp and the male representative who was very kind set up a complimentary appointment with a woman surgeon I believe in philly. I got there and the woman surgeon didn't accept the complimentary procedure of ink tattoo pixel dots on my scalp so it would look like a shaved look on top since my first procedure didn't have total thick look plus 1/3 of grafts to half got itched out. the male representative was awesome, the female surgeon I think it was in philly but not 100% sure was awful not helping me out. I've saught another hair doctor if I have any grafts left in my back area of head and they said no. I got around a 7 inch scar on the back and side of my head. I think my first procedure was around $3-4k, with my particular issue it probably would of cost $6-$8k at the time. ******JUST WARNING EVERYONE WHEN YOU GO TO SLEEP HAVE SOMEONE TO MONITOR YOU FROM SCRATCHING YOUR SCALP PREVENTING YOU FROM ITCHING OUT YOUR GRAFTS SUBCONSCIOUSLY OR UNCONSCIOUSLY. ******* Bosley did not warn me this could happen. this website review only lets me choose year 2025 or 2026, but my procedure happened like 10-15 years ago. from the first procedure I will give bosley props for trying and taking on my first procedure and helping me put in my first set of grafts. thanks

Bosley hair revive foam, has a serious problem with their nozzle. I have bought several times from CVS pharmacy and almost every time the nozzle freezes up and I have to throw it away. I trusted the name, but now I don’t.

After paying more than $12K last year, I was told today at my one year follow-up appointment, that I would have to pay another $7K more to get the results I want which is no bare spots on the crown of my head. I was not told last year when I spent $12K that I would have to pay more to get the results I want. The coverage on my crown is better but not acceptable.

I had a transplant done in Atlanta in 2020. It is now 2023 and most of that hair has fallen out. It was good for about 1.5 years. However, who pays thousands of dollars to have hair for 1.5 years? Perhaps, I should have chosen the place Deion Sanders and Brian Urlacher chose because they still have their transplanted hair.

I just had a procedure done a few days ago. Firstly, it is an aggressive sales environment, they are focused on closing the deal. Secondly, The doctor that did my procedure had no personality and a very poor bedside manner. He withheld information and did not explain to me that they were going to shave my whole head to perform the procedure. It was truly shocking to see it after the procedure. The staff was great, and I assume the results will be good, but be prepared That immediately after and for a few weeks you will want to wear a hat because it looks terrible.

Had the FUT procedure done (January 2015) and was left with terrible scarring in the back of my head and absolutely dismal results in the recipient areas. I followed all the post-op recommendations/instructions to the letter and still, absolutely no difference that where I was a year ago but now I have pain in the back of my head from where they cut into my scalp and once again, terrible scarring. This was by far the worst mistake of my life and I do not recommend anyone to ever do the FUT procedure, especially with Bosley in Chevy Chase, MD. The only up-side was that the nurses were very friendly and really helped me out during the procedure by giving lots of updates, explanations, etc. They are the only reason I didn't give a 1-star rating.

The staff and experience were great but the results are poor. I feel like I wasted my $11,000 and while I was told I needed a second treatment (which I can't afford) I also feel that the transplant I received doesn't have the "coverage" I expected. If anyone asked me about Bosley I would counsel them to not expect the results they are hoping for.
