BorouxReviews of boroux.com

I absolutely love my Boroux water filter! Having clean, great-tasting water is so important to me and my family, and Boroux makes it easy to feel confident about the water we drink every day. The quality of the filtration is amazing, and I love knowing that I'm making a healthier choice for my family by prioritizing clean water. The water tastes fresh and pure, and the filter itself is easy to use and feels like a great investment. I truly believe clean water is one of the most important things we can provide for our families, and Boroux has made that something I can feel good about every single day. I highly recommend Boroux to anyone who cares about the quality of their drinking water. Wonderful company, wonderful customer service.

Absolutely love our Boroux! The water tastes incredibly crisp and clean, even the kids can taste the difference! We have not one, but two units. They were so easy to set up, and the quality is outstanding. The customer service is truly top-notch! I recommend the 3 gallon unit for bigger families! Highly recommend!

The customer service at Boroux has been top notch and the products have changed my families lives! We love this company and highly recommend them!

I purchased the Boroux water system and within normal use it overflowed, damaging my wooden countertop. This isn't a case of user error. I went back through the manual afterward specifically looking for fill instructions, and there is no clear guidance on how much water the system can hold or how to fill it without risking overflow. The manual does, however, contain multiple warnings about overflow — which tells me this is a known issue the company hasn't actually fixed at the design level. When I contacted customer service, I spoke with two different representatives who each identified themselves as managers. Both were dismissive, spoke over me repeatedly, and tried to place the blame entirely on me for "not following instructions" — instructions that, again, do not exist in any clear form in the manual. Neither offered any real resolution for the damage to my property. What really got me was that they offered to send me a free water level spigot — essentially admitting this part is needed to prevent overflow. But if that's the case, why isn't it included standard? This system costs over $300, and a component that helps prevent the exact malfunction they kept insisting "never happens" should not be an optional extra. If a product's own documentation warns repeatedly about a malfunction but never explains how to prevent it, and the fix for that malfunction isn't even included at this price point, that's a design and communication failure, not a user error. Combine that with a customer service team unwilling to take responsibility, and I can't recommend this product. Buyers should know what they're getting into before they put this anywhere near a wood surface.

They will not honor their warranty on the filters because I was one day past the warranty with my official email complaint. however, I had called three times to report the same problem and they kept having me do "problem" solving which never worked and then would not back their product. They kept changing the "goal post" for typical performance, first it was one inch of left over water, then 1-2 inches, then 1-3 inches is normal. When I sent a picture with over three inches of remaining water in the filter, they responded with that looks normal. I had a ruler in the picture and everything that showed over over three inches. Anything to get out of backing their product! Go with Berkey.

Fantastic customer service, with a real phone number and real people. I had recently moved and forgot to notify Boroux auto-ship, but when I received an email that my filters had just sent, I panicked because of the old address. I called the customer service number and They were able to stop the shipment and correct the address to my new home right away. Very impressive , these days. The product is top notch and I highly recommend the extras. The automatic ‘priming’ feature makes set up fun and easy. I’ve used Boroux for 18 months now and I love it. I always toss the first two batches of water after installing new filters. I’m drinking more water now and love the purity.

Do not buy this product they’re fake and a health hazard. I received filters that were crumbling when in contact with water and they are claiming this is how it’s supposed to be…

Poor filters. At first they filtered fine although at different rates. But after 1.5 weeks of use in a normal home with 1 person, the filters have stopped filtering. It takes half a day to filter 1 liter and slowing more and more each day. The last 30% of water does not even go through. I don't have time to wash and prime them every other day as customer service suggest. Faulty product. Lasts 2 weeks, not months or years
