Really annoyed with BOROUX
Really annoyed with BOROUX, especially after spending around $600 on this system. Mine is leaking, and instead of replacing the defective unit, I’ve gone through repeated troubleshooting and was offered a replacement spigot, even though they haven’t determined that the spigot is actually causing the leak. If I return the system instead, I have to pay return shipping and package the entire system and stand myself. I also asked whether my 60-day return window would be protected while I wait for replacement parts and troubleshoot, and instead of a clear yes or no, I was told I “should have plenty of time.” For a product this expensive, I expected the warranty and customer service process to be much more straightforward.

We’re sorry to hear how frustrating this experience has been, especially after making a significant investment in your BOROUX system. We understand that dealing with a leak and going through troubleshooting can be disappointing when you’re expecting your system to work properly from the start. Our team’s goal was to determine where the leak was originating so we could provide the correct solution as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, based on the information available during the conversation, we weren’t able to clearly identify the source of the leak. Because leaks can originate from different components or connections, replacing the entire system before identifying the cause may not resolve the issue. The replacement spigot was offered as part of our effort to troubleshoot and address the most likely source based on the information we had. We also apologize that your question regarding the 60-day return window was not answered as clearly as it should have been. We understand why you wanted a direct answer while deciding whether to continue troubleshooting. Customers are always welcome to return an eligible system within our 60-day return period. As outlined in our return policy, customers are responsible for securely packaging the system and stand and for the cost of return shipping. These requirements apply to returns generally and are separate from the troubleshooting and warranty process. We appreciate that you gave us the opportunity to troubleshoot the issue, and we’re sorry the process left you feeling unsupported. Our intention was to identify the problem and provide the appropriate resolution rather than have you go through the inconvenience of returning the entire system unnecessarily.
