I keep coming back for the articles, but the site itself needs a major overhaul. The technical issues are constant: frequent crashes, an overwhelming number of intrusive ads, and annoying pop-ups falsely claiming my device has a virus. The community aspect isn't much better. Downvotes are thrown around for zero reason (no more downvote ban for this reason) if you express a basic preference, people twist it into something negative. The comment section is dominated by overly pedantic people looking for arguments or grammar mistakes. Adding a user block feature would go a long way in making this platform actually enjoyable to scroll through. I shouldn't have to see the same nitwits every time I want to enjoy an article.

I used to thoroughly enjoy the site, but a massive increase in ads has made it unnavigable. Repeatedly crashing, screen jumping, resetting to the top of the page. You legitimately can’t view content anymore, there’s no point in visiting the site at all.

Used to love this site, but all the ads covering the screen makes it unbearable, so likely won't be back.

I used to enjoy Bored Panda. Maybe even spending too much time in there so I avoided it. So this week I took myself a look and posted a comment that voices an alternative opinion. But not only did they flag my comment because of down votes, BP actually edited my comment and took out any nuances. So now I'm not only unable to have a meaningful discussion with other members, but my opinion is also portrayed in it's altered state.

As other people have mentioned. Boredpanda will automatically block you for being downvoted in the comments section. The website is difficult to navigate if you want to communicate with them or report a problem. They seem to want to use other people's content to generate as much traffic as possible with the minimum possible effort on their part.

It copies and pastes posts from Reddit, only really bothering to change the title to make it more 'clickbait'. Members leave comments on the posts. If your comment gets 10 downvotes or more, you get suspended. Not because you violated anything, but because 10 people didn't like your comment. And if you try to contact them, they won't answer your emails. I seriously thought I had been hacked when they suspended me for 'numerous violations' without telling me what those were. I was instructed to reply to the email if I thought the decision was wrong. I did so. 4 weeks later I am still waiting. Some articles are interesting, but you can read the originals on Reddit.
