The site was great years ago, and now it's gone straight into the toilet. Nothing but regurgitated Reddit posts and recycling the same photo collections over and over. The content has also become increasingly misogynistic, any mention of which will get you banned. The level of censorship makes the site unreadable, and the constant spam is absurd.

I used to really enjoy BP. Actually it was the only magazine type site that I regularly visited. Unfortunately, it has deteriorated so much over the past year or so. Unnecessary censorship, so intense that you sometimes can't even guess the censored word, and so conservative that everyday normal English words are censored. Added to that, the site doesn't load properly on a PC anymore (I can only see the opening page, and one 'Load more', and that's it. No more content.) Such a shame that a really interesting and interactive site could have fallen so far.

Not as good as it was. They copy/paste probably 98% of their stuff from Reddit and other sites, in fact 'Bored Panda functions primarily as a content aggregator that sources a large portion of its viral material, images, and stories directly from platforms like Reddit' Source:AI. It's really bad now.

they removed posting, and the censorship! also the constant onslaught of ads- ugh. I want to post a question, but can't. I want to be able to post my question to the community, but they removed that. also, they censor so, so much.

They take content, free content, from reddit and expect people to pay them?

I keep coming back for the articles, but the site itself needs a major overhaul. The technical issues are constant: frequent crashes, an overwhelming number of intrusive ads, and annoying pop-ups falsely claiming my device has a virus. The community aspect isn't much better. Downvotes are thrown around for zero reason (no more downvote ban for this reason) if you express a basic preference, people twist it into something negative. The comment section is dominated by overly pedantic people looking for arguments or grammar mistakes. Adding a user block feature would go a long way in making this platform actually enjoyable to scroll through. I shouldn't have to see the same nitwits every time I want to enjoy an article.

"99 men shared their rooms from disgusting as expected to surprisingly cozy" That's an increasingly common article title. Just pure unapologetic misandry. They don't even make an attempt to have a reasonable balance. Just "men are shit". Misogyny is treated as a capital crime, misandry is treated as funny. Then they complain(rightfully) about supposed toxic masculinity, but if a guy admits he's having a tough time or just doesn't appreciate blatantly anti-male sentiments like this, he's told to man-up and gets laughed at.

its ok but the relentless censorship is maddening. Totally normal words are censored to protect mentaly vulnerable people and snowflakes. It defeats the purpose of the site in a way
