Intitally this was a great, fun, place to find creative content. It is now filled with a ridiculous amount of full page ads that freeze the site, and forced navigation that you to (no working back button). I'd probably just deal with those if the content was worth it, but it has become a cesspool of idiot celebrities, regurgiated reddit or news that isn't even current (years old), clickbait titles, and AI slop. Even when there are actual "articles" they are posted by so-called writers who are clearly fuctionally illiterate.

Years ago when the site started it was OK. But it was apparent then Lithuanian commenters hate America, American citizens, our Democracy and our dominance in the world. It's blind, simple-minded hatred by yet another failing Euro-Socialist regime. In recent years the Anti-Americanism and TDS have raged out of control. The comments are hatred are both shallow, obviously done by MSM addicts because the talking points are exactly the same. I wish we could withdraw from protecting Lithuania and particularly Jonah Grinevicius. Such a trashy site now. They're doing everything from brokering your personal information to ham-handed stealth ads in addition to being crowded with ads. For those still reading BP -- Firefox with addons shuts down all the ads.

This used to be such a good website, but now it’s so full of adds, needs refreshing 5 times to read an article, and freezes so often it’s not even worth visiting. Sort it out Bored Panda.

Bored Panda does not give users real control over their own content. I posted work on their platform years ago. Recently, I decided to remove my content and account and was genuinely shocked to find there is no functional way to do it. There is no option to edit or delete your own posts, and when I contacted them directly, they ignored multiple requests. This isn’t just frustrating, it’s a serious issue. They continue to display and benefit from my copyrighted images while refusing to respond to removal requests. There is a clear lack of transparency and accountability in how they handle user content and personal data. Because of their failure to respond, I filed a formal complaint with the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate. If you are a photographer, artist, or creator, understand this before you post anything there: you may not be able to get it back or take it down. Once it’s up, they appear to keep it whether you want it there or not. That should concern anyone who values control over their own work. EDITED TO ADD POST BORED PANDA REPLY: it took a complaint to Lithuanian State Data Protection Agency, a GDPR Complaint to the EU, Emails to their Legal Team (Ignored) Editors (Ignored) Privacy Team (Ignored) and a Trust Pilot review to get my account removed. And they still never replied to my emails. Only this review. Make no mistake, my emails weren't "missed" and if Bored Panda truly respected the rights of creators, they will CLEARLY and PLAINLY include instructions on how to delete accounts instead of literally disabling the delete function and ignoring emails to do so. I would recommend to save yourself the headache if you ever want control of your work and just don't publish there.

The site freezes and reloads so often that I give up trying to finish an entire page. It used to load faster but the ads and constant pop ups slow it down so much that it’s not worth waiting for. I enjoy the content but am losing interest when I wait so long. I have not experience these problems at any other site that I frequent. Come on, Bored Panda, make me love you again!

Site is unusable now. Aggressive ads, not responding errors, slow loading etc.

This site used to be really good for fun articles or ways to pass time on journeys etc. It's now completely unusable. There are so many ads all trying to load as soon as one finishes, constant redirection to outside sites with advertisements, and it'll scroll the article if an advert is trying to play somewhere unseen. Other times it just won't load at all. I guess trying to get ALL the adverts caused issues, and they probably should have stuck to a couple of reputable companies. Such a mess now, and usually critical errors come up 4 or 5 times a day.
