Booze Carriage is a great service with reasonable prices. Unfortunately, the nature of the business is such that things have to be subcontracted extensively. Sometimes it's lightning fast. Sometimes it blows the 30-60 window entirely. That's just the nature of the beast.

I moved to Jackson Heights, Roosevelt Ave and you don't deliver around here. Which sucks because the area only has 2 small liquor stores that don't have the stuff I buy.

I order stuff for job parties from here all the time. Sometimes they have odd hours in which they are not delivering, BUT that's not a big deal because the site is AWESOME otherwise. Instead of having to take a cab or walk with ten other people to go get some booze for an office party, I can just order it, and it comes to me, and I don't have to go anywhere. Another con is that you can't get wine and beer at the same time, but I think that has to do with NY legal stuff, and you can just order the wine right after ordering the beer, so it's not a big deal.

I've loved using BoozeCarriage to have wine and beer delivered either for office parties or to my home if I'm not in the mood to go out or don't have time. In Manhattan, service is always prompt (I did have a longer wait time in Brooklyn, but that's understandable). My only complaint is that sometimes if the wine store is out of something, they'll replace it with a wine that is not of the same caliber. For example -- a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc should never be replaced with a California Sauvignon Blanc. Because... gross. Other than that, it's awesome!

Hey Callie, Thanks so much for your feedback! We're so glad you've enjoyed our service. BUT- you're right. A California Sauv should never have been substituted for a New Zealand! We will ensure that this doesn't continue to happen. Thanks for the kind words and we'll see ya real soon. :)

this is a great web based door to door booze delivery service, whether you want wine, beer, spirits or mixers. It's fast (under an hour) and convenient. My only comments would be the web site needs to be a little easier/faster to use, and they need to have a better selection. However, if they don't have what you want, they will always call to ask if you want a substitution and provide it at the same price of what you ordered if it retails at a higher price. They have very good customer service too.

I've used BoozeCarriage several times now, and had flawless service all but once. Most of my orders were delivered in about a half an hour, and were always correct. One time I did have an issue, with an order not being delivered within the one hour specified. I emailed support, and the order showed up about 20 minutes later. So, all-in-all, I think they're doing pretty well, and will definitely continue to use their service.

Great service and great idea. Have run into an issue with inventory not being available after placing an order. Refund was processed quickly - but they should do a better job of managing what is sold online when there's nothing left on the shelves. Will continue to use the service.

Great delivery service. Great website. Wish there was a far greater selection to choose from. A mobile app would be great as well.
