If you are thinking of taking the Coffee Roasting Biz class, do it! It was 100% worth it and SO informative. Valerian and my classmates would start off with informal samplings of coffee in the morning to set the tone for the day. This was a easy and comfortable way to ask questions and form relationships. Besides just being fun, this course really helped me get better at describing what I was tasting. We could reflect on each others descriptions and Valerian REALLY knows everything about coffee. What a guy! The business part was very informative and consisted of practical matters from branding, packaging, websites and marketing. Guest Speakers that made this all seem possible for me! There were zero secrets. Valerian gave honest and constructive feedback but never made me feel insecure about my ideas. Valerian is a great teacher and mentor. He is very patient and personable. He really simplified the roasting process and pushed us to just keep roasting, roasting, roasting!

Last week I did the Coffee Roasting BIZ and to be honest it was all I needed! We went through the right amount of theory, practice and business data. It's great if you are like me, a coffee passionate that wants to get into the business but doesn't know much about the industry. It teaches you all you need to get started. I may have liked a little bit more of roasting practice (since I was the newby there in comparison to my classmates) but it's great that you can always book extra hours to do that the day after the training. I def recommend this course! We also had a great time, Valerian our trainer is just the best!

I can't say enough positive things about my experience at Boot Coffee campus. The team (Valerian & Marcus) were both incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and friendly, and I'd strongly recommend anyone considering investing in coffee education to choose the team at Boot!

I had a great week of training and plan on returning to take more courses.

Boot coffee campus was great, nothing beats hands on training and u get it here. Course was also very versatile and adapted to our needs, I highly recommend.

Our organization's coffee shop, Arte del Cafe had the pleasure of having a Boot Coffee Campus consultant (Dan) come to our establishment and work with 3 of our baristas. Everything was done in a professional way, and the baristas learned a lot from him. Being right there with him, was great, they were able to ask questions, and get answers right away. They practiced their skills in making coffee with the consultant overseeing what they were doing. As the overseer of the coffee shop, I myself learned about coffee and how it was made. (I did not know much before we started). I would recommend you get Boot Coffee Campus to come to your establishment before or after you have opened your shop, and also when you get new baristas working for you. Dan knows about coffee, and is easy to work with. Highly recommend!

I wish you do more follow up after the online training I took. That's the only way for you you to assess if the training I took was effective and useful or otherwise.

If you are serious about starting a coffee roasting business this is a must!! I was hesitant to take the class as I have previous business experience but there are so many things to be learned from this class. I took the coffee roaster biz class with Valerian and he has been the best instructor I’ve had by far. I left the class confident about how to run my business, new ideas and opportunities to develop and much more confident in my coffee roasting skills
