They give lots of support and knowledge. The only thing I would like to see improved upon is that it seems like Bill is not very active within the coaching calls anymore.

I feel that the team did a great job keeping things as simple as possible to start, especially for people who were completely new to the accounting profession, and provided a lot of resources to help people be successful. They had a well thought out step by step process to get people going, and were available via email for support and questions. The only reason I didn't give a 5-star rating is due to some of the modules being outdated (multiple years) compared to what some platforms look like today, so could be a little challenging to follow along.

The Booming Bookkeeping Business training taught me everything I needed to know to start my business the right way. I learned how to write a compelling value proposition, set up my QuickBooks profile, and the importance of marketing effectively without overspending. The QuickBooks training was good. They provide up-to-date information, helping you pass your certification(s). I dropped one star due to the high number of members who believe they can succeed in running a bookkeeping business without any actual bookkeeping knowledge or training specific to the field. You need more than just QuickBooks certification to become a successful bookkeeper. Can you succeed using this program? Absolutely. But you will need additional training that this program is not designed to provide you.

The training was clear, practical, and easy to follow. Most of all it gave me confidence.

I joined the 5-day challenge to get the sales pitch for the the mentorship program. Bill is very motivational and really does give you the basics to get started during the 5 day challenge. I have started a business in the past and the advice was pretty on par. I would say dont waste time on the VIP option. You get a "bonus" day where you can ask questions. The mentorship program itself sounds amazing. I also would like to say the content value is worth the $5000 price tag especially if you are band new to bookkeeping and running a business. I paid more for college classes. The Quickbooks Pro help and coaching is amazing. So if clients ask questions you can't answer you will have a support team to help you. There is a private Facebook site for students in the mentorship program and weekly support calls. I am not doubting the legitimacy of the program or the content. But the VERY big draw back for me is the payment options. The first option is a 1 time payment or the 3 monthly with a $997 deposit) and you get lifetime access.. The 2nd is a momthly subscription that ends your access when you cancel.Unless you are fortunate enough to have the full investment amount for the one time payment, the subscription is your only option and I was not very thrilled. Throughout the challenge and days after you receive many emails about signing up for the mentorship and VIP options. It is pretty much spamming scare tactics. It says sign up now or you miss out... but I mean just sign up for the challenge again??? I do know prices can change though. The scare tactics and one time waiving of the deposit is a marketing strategy to get you to act now. It also doesn't say what this deposit is for (does it go towards advance payments of the monthly subscription???) If you are like me, I HATE subscriptions especially expensive ones. I would have been more game if it was a repayment towards the $5000 where there is an actual end. 2. He says during the course you dont need a lot of stuff and can get the business up and running and worry about more things AFTER you start getting clients but this is not taking into account thr cost of his mentorship program if you do want to do it. He puts a lot of pressure on signing up now before any money is coming in. Bottom line if you have the money great but if you dont then this is not for you. Learn what you can during the free 5 day challenge and do you like own research. QB offer training, and you can do free marketing and Google starting a business. There are really good checklists out there.
