I paid for the course about a year ago. Followed along in the videos which are dated and not Bill. The videos are designed to teach you what you need to know to pass the Intuit Certifications. This is actually something you can learn directly on Intuit. I passed them all in November. In the end, I didn't actually KNOW enough to even talk to a potential client! And I know I'm not the only one. Additionally, the main support is the FB page. Not enough. I really really wish I hadn't spent my money here. Not enough training or support to even get a client.

This is essentially a course in marketing and not even a very good one. There are much better resources out there that don't cost thousands of dollars. Check Khan Academy for free courses or search Launching Your Bookkeeping Business: A Self-Guided Roadmap to pay $10 for better information that Booming.

It's not worth $5K. First they bait and switch, the guy who you are paying to learn from isn't the instructor in their video course. The course has nearly 700 videos, and after watching over 100 of them, neither me nor my girlfriend were learning anything. It's quite outdated and when we would attempt to follow along, we weren't able to due to changes on the QB online interface (such as setting up a fake company to use for training). They market this as something you can start making money with within just a few weeks, and I highly doubt that is the case for most people. They also have NO money back guarantee. That's enough reason to stay away.

A bunch of out dated pre-recorded videos so he can get rich off the poor. Go a different route.

Another simple teaser for a HUGE upsell. Bill was a very nice sounding fella on the training videos. Gives you just enough info to believing that maybe you can do this for just the roughly 18 hours you commit to the "free training plus the $147 VIP upgrade". But then at the end of the week gives the "personal coaching pitch" that will fast track you to success. This is a $5000 course ($6000) if you pay over time. I can't find any other positive reviews. I also don't believe that just because you try the 2 free forms of marketing that he recommends that the "floodgates' will open and you will have a 6 figure income in a short period of time. Definitely a waste of my time....

All of the info to get certified is on Quickbooks already. Just another guru making false promises. The clients that come through Quickbooks proadvisor confuse you for Quickbooks reps and are very messy and timewasters. If you haven't taken an accounting class, you have no business doing bookkeeping in the first place. The Facebook group is suspiciously positive and heavily moderated and most of the people posting are recent purchasers. I think all of the negative comments get deleted. The other marketing advice is hit or miss. Here's the spoilers, set up a Proadvisor profile, get reviews, post on Linkedin, make a Facebook page. Hope to get found. Don't forget about doing the actual work lol. Enjoy the $2000, I forgot about it already.
