Lab O.
Perfect for Lab pup - Stainless Steel
After some reading on the site, we went with the Large Bone Shaped Tag (Stainless Steel). It exceeded expectations. The engraving is flawless and smooth on all edges. Very easy to read. The metal is thicker than expected, very solid. This is the way they should be made. Hats off to the owner, nicely done. Website: Text input works well for doing up the tag. It also provides the amount of spaces allowed for each line, which we used to work around what information to put where. Found this very helpful. We did 3 text lines on front (to keep pet name bigger) and 4 on back. Looks fine and is very easy to read (if he holds still long enough). Since we now have a Lab and live a rural neighborhood, we chose the following format. dog NAME the borrowed line, IF ALONE, I’M LOST Owner first NAME and PHONE NUMBER. on the back TOWN and STATE (not really necessary, but had an extra line so why not) second owner NAME and PHONE NUMBER VET and PHONE NUMBER EMAIL ADDRESS (which in this case is pretty short and has our last name in it). All this provides multiple ways to contact us and/or provide info to the vet to contact us (our last name and dog name). Also enough info so if the finder texts or sends email, we won’t think it’s spam. Dog is chipped as well. Because our pup is a Lab the whole "not putting the dogs name on the tag" issue really doesn’t matter. He will either avoid people he doesn’t trust or be trying to jump in there face for hugs and licks.
