High quality book for less than half the official price
I am quite satisfied with this purchase. They offered this book for less than half the official retail price, making it an excellent deal. Since it is a specialized academic book with a hardcover binding, I initially suspected that I might receive a cheaper Indian edition, with lower printing quality and a paperback cover. However, the book turned out to be the original edition, brand new, with a high-quality hardcover. Shipping took over a month and was handled by FedEx. However, there is one issue worth mentioning. Since customs duties had to be paid, FedEx, for some reason, paid them in advance and then charged an extremely expensive disbursement fee of £17. I paid this fee, but I certainly did not think it was fair to be charged such an amount (more than half the price of the book) simply because FedEx had advanced a customs payment of just a few euros. I therefore contacted BooksGoat's customer support, and within a few days they agreed to refund the fee. They also explained that they would do their best to prevent FedEx from imposing similar unexpected charges on future customers. Overall, I am genuinely very happy to have purchased this book at such a remarkably low price, and I am equally satisfied with their customer service, which promptly and effectively resolved the issue.
