I reached out again to Books Publishing Labs to see if they had a chance to reconsider their refusal to give me something for the £1000 I paid them in the interim five weeks since we last spoke. Yet again, all they offered was a 3 month social media marketing campaign for £1,200 whilst admitting I could get it cheaper elsewhere. Needless to say I will never be paying any money to this company ever again. Stay clear of them .. tell your friends and family...and ask them to tell their friends and family until this company start to deliver on their promises

BPL jeep asking for access to my Amazon account which I gave withdrawn because I do not want them involved with my book. BPL said they would market the book and generate "steady, organic traction". The only sales have been those I generated. The editing was terrible. They made don't and indent changes that took me 12 revisions for them to get them the finally make the content correct.

Following my last review, after many empty promises, I NEVER got back the 25,000 dollars I paid for the 5,000 copies of my book, nor do I have ANY books (they only printed 45) . They completely disappeared after I threatened legal action starting 26 February. The XXX said this company is NOT INCORPORATED as a legitimate business anywhere in the United States. Also after extensive research the managers and account executives that I worked with seem also to not exist in the U.S. All to say, that they STOLE my pension money and I don't have any printed books to show for. So, if you decide to do business with them, know that they will steal your money and disappear, as they are ghosts = scammers. How sad that this group of people will so easily shatter your author's dreams to steal your money. Please BE CAREFUL! Tons of reputable long-standing U.S. publishing companies to do business with (I wish I knew that before I signed up with them, as I deeply regret it now).

I started in 2024. Here it is 2026, and I still haven't seen anything. I paid $1800 for what I thought was going to be my first book ever to write, but it turned out that nothing went right. I was passed around to many people and some were very rude. I have yet to see my $1800. I may never see it. So, if you're looking for a good publishing service to publish your book, DONT COME TO THEM.

I worked with Bruce Wilson, and he was really the best. Never made me feel as if my questions were silly or stupid, and he made the process so easy. I am nearly finished with my second book, and I think I will be coming back to you guys again.

I am in process of working on 2 projects and have been quite pleased with the entire experience. Hannah has been very attentive and very receptive to all of my feedback and requests for change. I look forward to seeing the finished products.

Started bad, got better! Now after 7-8 months it is great! Just published my third book with I hope more coming! We have embraced the value of each other and it is growing! They are not perfect, but my manager Steve is doing a great job! My Ghost Writer and editors are better and better!

As a first-time self-publisher, I didn’t know where to start. Book Publishing Lab kept working with me to get everything right. Many thanks to Zoe who helped me at every turn (a challenge because of my genre), and to Harvey Walker, the regional manager, who was kind and accommodating. I gave 4 stars rather than 5 because it was sometimes difficult to communicate by phone. I almost always had to leave a message rather than having a call put through.
