its taking 3wks for a simple return/refund. every person over phone is unhelpful and just says what you want to hear. no one actually does their job and helps you. others who can help you never seem to be in office. different stories get told. im scared i was sent to dead ends just so the return deadline passes and i get no refund. NEVER USING THIS SCAMMY DEADBEAT SITE AGAIN

Customer service is horrible! Bait and switch tactic. The book that I received was not as described. Sending the book back would cost me more money than what they would’ve refunded. They basically tied your hands so that you end up having to keep their crap product. Stay away from this company through Abebooks.com. They are not a reputable company. Poor quality product, bad customer service and not ethical practice!

I ordered a book 32 days ago and I am still awaiting the book. It took a week for them to respond to my email. Initially, they gave me the wrong tracking number. The book did not show up in USPS tracking until 5 days ago. Will never used them again.

Initially was very skeptical after seeing a couple of negative reviews. Then called the customer care number and confirmed they are legit. Ordered the book. Got it in time and in the described condition. Very cooperative customer care. Highly recommended.

For about $104, I purchased a used C# programming book called "Starting out with Visual C# Fifth Edition" by Tony Gaddis. I was about 5stars excited to have received it, especially considering the reviews that I read about BookHolders AFTER purchasing this book. I don't know what those other reviews were about, but I'm glad I got my book so I am happy. Now about the book, I say that it is in good enough condition being used. They mentioned water damage to the back of the book, whereas I don't see any water damage.

This business is a complete scam and just robs people of their hard earned money. They give fake prices to students for their advantage account knowing it will sell for much less than promised. On top of that checks will take almost a year to ship out! Absolutely ridiculous this is a scam and should be avoided at all costs

I got my book in a good price and on time.

They charged me $37.34 to post a tiny $4 book. Ok, so I was willing to pay it as I figured I was paying for a premium service. The book took over 2 months to arrive! So they charged me a premium shipping fee but sent it budget by surface mail. When I emailed them they kept saying I have to wait 90 days before they would consider a refund. That's ridiculous. In 20 years of buying books I've never experienced such poor service. Won't ever buy from them again!
