The tool itself has a great UI. The only thing it can do well is convince people to upgrade to their paid plan. Then you realize it cannot be used to build real-world value. Regardless of the prompt it provides ugly generic websites as the output. Bolt.new never understands your idea and tries to build something more simple instead. Noone needs another embedding tool or hideous-looking online calculator.

The most terrible Vibe Ai so far. beside the fact that the token runs quickly, Bolt can't even create a responsive page with active login... i wasted my MOney.

It says that the tokens roll over so I had it active just to accrue some tokens till i cud figure out the stack and architecture I needed. Logged in 4 months later and find that they only roll over for a month so expire after the next month. False advertising

Bolt is probably one of the worst AI website builders of the lot. It will often not follow basic instructions, and make a poor job when it does. You'll find yourself spending a lot of money on credit getting it to do basic things. Not worth the money while the website is still in Alpha (as of 19th October 2026)

Nice as a demo with less focus on design - and that is about it - from there it goes down-hill At the end of the day- a VERY POOR product

I'm beyond frustrated. After pouring an obscene amount of time and credits into Bolt.net, I still don’t have a working user registration and login flow — the most basic, bare-minimum feature of any platform worth its name. How is this even possible? You've launched a product that can’t do the fundamentals, and you're charging for it like it’s production-ready. It's not. It’s a half-baked, unstable mess that’s actively wasting people’s time and money. I came to Bolt for speed and simplicity. What I’ve gotten is a black hole for credits and a pile of broken promises. This platform is not fit for public use, and frankly, you should be embarrassed to be charging for it in its current state. I’m right on the edge of writing a public review calling this out in full detail. You’ve left me with a product that doesn't work, zero value for money, and a mounting sense of having been completely misled. Fix this. Or expect to see more users like me taking this public.

It's sad that something as simple as communication and transparency is going to tank this company. It had such potential with the easy integrations but when tokens expire if not used, and zero technical support. and major product bugs prevent you using the product its a lose lose.
