The cancelling subscription flow was filled with dark patterns. I ended up paying for an extra year as it told me it would remind me 2 weeks before the subscription ended. I didn't receive any message and once I went through the actual cancellation flow I was bombarded with dark patterns. It seems to be part of their business plan to trick people in this way.

Charged for another year after I cancelled I am extremely disappointed with BoldVoice’s subscription and billing practices. After using the service for one year, I cancelled my subscription because I did not want it to renew. Despite cancelling, my credit card was charged for another full year of service. I did not knowingly authorize this renewal, and I believe the cancellation and renewal process was misleading. Being charged for an additional year after cancelling feels completely unacceptable. I recommend that anyone considering BoldVoice carefully check the renewal terms, save proof of cancellation, and monitor their credit card statements closely. I am requesting a full refund for the unauthorized renewal charge.
