The taste is on great, but usually in the 2oz bags, 1/4 to 1/2 (on a bad one) of the bag is tendon or gristle that cannot be chewed. I prefer buying the slabs but they have not been available.

Definitely not comparable to anything I've had in Africa. Seasoning was bland and I was not impressed. Wouldn't buy this "biltong" again or suggest anyone else try it. Re: Boikeys Reply I appreciate the offer and hope you all the best. Take care.

It got hot in the mailbox and it seemed really warm. Maybe when you scale up (see what I did there...) you could ship with some sort of thicker envelope or a temperature moderated package. And, on a completely different note, I scoured the website ad the FAQs link was not working and I’m wondering if I have to refrigerate the productA? Still don’t know. Very tasty product.

Just figured the packages of jerky would be bigger. 2 oz is not worth the 7 bucks

My order went very smoothly, but the bag was much smaller than I anticipated (my fault by not noticing that it was only 2 ounces, but yikes eight dollars for a single serving?!). And in the end, I was just not a fan of the seasoning. I think the rosemary might be throwing the whole thing off. Perhaps the flavor is faithful to it’s South African origins, but it was an odd flavor that I could not bring myself to enjoy. Shame because the meats underneath is indeed quite good. If you guys offered more reasonable prices and a simpler recipe, I might come back
