My current physician is a bit distant, not very personable and difficult to communicate with between appointments through staff. Being as accessible as possible shows that you really care. As a dentist, I treated patients for close to 40 years and they were MY patients. I cared for them and personally expressed to them my concern. My life was blessed with the opportunity and responsibilities of helping them. But these are perhaps different times of different attitudes. Times are changing and it is what it is.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We are sorry to hear that your practitioner is challenging to communicate with and distant. We strive to provide every patient with high-level healthcare with highly-trained practitioners that are both compassionate and accessible. The practitioners within our network are dedicated to their patients and typically respond themselves or through their office manager within 24-48 hours. We will look into your situation and work diligently to repair the missing link in the communication process. Thank you again for sharing and for being a BodyLogicMD patient – your feedback helps us to improve!

They like to lock you into their system…
They like to lock you into their system which is over controlling, expensive and rather inflexible. I like the Doctor, not the practice and policies of Body Logic.
Response from BodyLogicMDAug 29, 2018
We are sorry to hear about your experience. It is never our intention to come across as controlling or inflexible. BodyLogicMD is not insurance based, so it operates a little different from a conventional doctor’s office. While you may be able to utilize your insurance for some of the requested lab tests, in most cases, out of pocket fees, do still apply. BodyLogicMD charges a processing fee any time testing is ordered – which is roughly 3-4 times a year. This processing and administration fee covers all of the back office work that is done related to your appointments and treatment. If you visit a BodyLogicMD practice, you may notice that the in-office staff is much smaller than a traditional medical practice, and that’s because the practitioner has a support team that operates remotely and handles all of the administrative work. Doing this allows the practitioner to spend more time with you and focus entirely on your care, and while some may view this as an extra fee, in reality, it helps keep the consultation fees low compared to other concierge practices.

Not the same.....
Out of my five years of using Body Logic, the last year or two have not been as pleasant an experience as at first. Visits seemed rushed through and impersonal. The cost of the office visit is ridiculous, as is the
phone appointment. The lab testing prices are very expensive, especially when it is out of pocket. It runs me approximately $1000 every 5-6 months. The doctor now would like patients seen every 4 months for pellet instead of the 5-6 month period.
It seems it has become more about money and that's too bad.
My Dr. is very good at what she does and I respect her for that.
I'm just not sure if these changes are across the board at Body Logic or if it is the individual office itself. Either way, I am in search of a different practice other than Body Logic. It really is too bad.

Pellets typically last around 3-5 months before hormones are depleted but because everyone is different, this can vary by patient. Pellets release hormones into your system as needed by heart rate, so it is very possible that they don’t seem to last as long as before because you are more balanced and active as compared to when you started. However, depending on your situation and body chemistry, other factors may influence this behavior as well. Your practitioner should be able to provide you with more insight into your specific situation during your next consultation.
Again, we thank you for your feedback, we thank you for being a BodyLogicMD patient and we hope you continue on your wellness journey with BodyLogicMD.

I am pretty happy with the results I have gotten, but the cost is becoming prohibitive. Every other visit my payment is doubled because of reviewing test results. I simply can't afford $300 for someone to spend half an hour reading me what it says on the papers I'm being given. The supplements although competitively priced are not when you have to pay 10 dollars to have them shipped. Free shipping available for comparable quality anywhere else you go
Response from BodyLogicMDAug 29, 2018
Thank you for sharing. It is important for the practitioner to review test results with you to ensure your body is appropriately adjusting to therapy and your symptoms are subsiding. However, we do agree that the physician should not just be reading those results to you, but rather interpreting the results in layman's terms and teaching you how you can continue to improve. Supplements are an essential part of age management, and if you utilize Auto-Orders, we do provide free shipping on orders over $100, but we will look into free shipping so we can stay competitive.
Thank you again for sharing. Your feedback is important to us!

Using your insurance for lab's is almost impossible .

We understand your concerns, but because BodyLogicMD is not insurance based and the practitioners in our network are not “in network” with insurance companies, it operates a little different from a conventional doctor’s office; please let me explain.

I believe your experience will depend on your doctor. I have been involved with body logic for approximately 8 years and I have the most confidence in Dr Schultz! Body logic and myself are lucky to have her !

The costs are exceedingly high and the testing is also too expensive and too frequent. If regimen is working, why suc frequent testing, except to get money.

Hormone physiology is complex. It is important for testing to be completed throughout the year so the practitioner can see how your levels have changed and how your body is responding to treatment. This allows for your treatment plan to be adjusted as need be as your symptoms improve.
Again, thank you for your feedback and for being a BodyLogicMD patient!
