why would you charge for shipping on a product that is over $100.00
Response from BodyLogicMDAug 31, 2018
Hello Cheryl - Medication orders from various pharmacies will sometimes have shipping costs associated with them. This is not something that BodyLogicMD charges. We will be reaching out to you separately to discuss crediting you for shipping costs as a good faith effort on our behalf.

I approved testing
I approved testing; a urine kit should be delivered. Often, I do not get the kit, and have to request a 2nd time... I authorized a week ago, still waiting (again), so not sure how long to wait before I contact someone to request a 2nd time.
Also, I never receive the lab authorization .. I always need to call someone or email someone to get it sent a second time, after I have already authorized, so my labs are often late.
Finally, I have trouble with EVERY script delivery from Wells Pharmacy, and would like to find a different way to get supplements and scripts. After convincing Wells Pharmacy to change their deliverycarrier because they kept leaving my order in the wrong place on my property (from Fed Ex to UPS), the last delivery (of hormone creme and pills) was on a very hot day, and the contents were extremely overheated (does not preserve the quality of the product sent).

Bodylogic is overpriced for what you…
Bodylogic is overpriced for what you get and makes it very difficult to comply with their system. There are three different offices that you have to deal with at different times and then go see the doctor, who charges $600 per visit. The visit is a simple procedure and discuss of past treatments. Maybe, at max a 30min visit. In addition, to the doctor visit that you have to pay for, you are responsible for your lab testing of $299 every 3mths, and then all of the supplements that you have to buy. They only do urine testing for your hormones.
I was with BodyLogic for 2.5years and was consistently complaining that something was off. Apparently, they were administrating the absolutely lowest dosage of hormones which is way I was having so many issues. So for 2.5 years, I wasted my money for nothing.
Find another doctor or Internist that can do hormone testing and then find a doctor, who is offering hormone replacement therapy.

Thank you for your comment. We are sorry to hear about your experience.
BodyLogicMD is not insurance based, so it operates a little different from a conventional doctor’s office. While you may be able to utilize your insurance for some of the requested lab tests, in most cases, out of pocket fees, do still apply. BodyLogicMD charges a processing fee any time testing is ordered – which is roughly 3-4 times a year. hormones work like a symphony in an orchestra, and all parts must be in sync to optimize performance. The orchestra is your body, and you’re the conductor. However, if one musician isn’t pulling their weight or jeopardizing the overall performance, they need to be replace. As the conductor, don’t you want the most qualified person for the job that understands the interrelationships and workings of a symphony? The same goes for hormone replacement. To get everything optimized and working in sync, you need the most qualified practitioner that fully understands the ins and outs of hormone balance.
Practitioners within the BodyLogicMD network set the standard when it comes to being specially trained in hormone optimization. With over 60 practitioners nationwide, BodyLogicMD makes up the largest network of highly-trained practitioners specializing in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) and integrative medicine for both men and women. To join the network, all practitioners must complete over 200 hours of extensive training and pass both oral and written boards with the American Board of Anti-Aging Medicine and maintain an active membership with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), in addition to being dedicated to ongoing education. So when you visit with a BodyLogicMD affiliated practitioner, you can rest assured knowing you’re in the hands of a top-tier professional. Each patient experience is individual and based on how their body responds to their personal treatment plan.
Thank you again for your feedback. We will review to see how we can continue to improve.

Utterly unresponsive and disinterested in customer care
Didn't submit prescription to pharmacy correctly and never contacted me about any issues. Waited and waited. Then you call and Can't get anyone to answer the phone and then waiting on hold is not an option - you are forced to leave a message and disconnected. Didn't get a call back. Tried again next day. And again the next. Then days later you get a call and if you can't drop everything to answer it, then they leave a message and you get to start the entire thing over again. Then you finally get them and they can't seem to locate or resolve the problem. Say they need to contact the prescribing doctor. Never hear back. Same process. Finally reach them. Same thing. Like the first call never happened. Prescription is in the portal but doesn't exist. Need to call the doctor. No direct line is available for that anymore. So same process with a different option, you are forced to leave message but never hear back. Contact pharmacy and they try. They send emails and say not getting any responses. They try to call but have no success so you don't hear back from them either. I plead and beg and the pharmacy decides to try to keep calling. They finally get through and get the issue resolved. Almost 1 month and unbelievable amount of time and frustration for something that was supposed to be received in 5 business days.
Is this a Bad - unacceptable experience? Is this disrespectful of my time and energy as a customer? Is this unreasonable conduct? Absolutely on all counts!
UPDATE: This gets worse. They read the above review and a "customer service lead" did reach out to me like they said they would in their review response below - via an email wanting to discuss via telephone to learn details so they can improve. I am all over that. Would love to help improve this thing. Mine and everyone's experience could be so much easier. The number provided by the customer service lead at the bottom of the email is not a direct number. Rather, it is a number for a recording where you get to select between two options just like above. New prescriptions or renewals for existing customers. So even though neither really seem to apply you pick one just so you can move forward. You get put into the same loop as above. No one answers (everyone busy with other customers) then you get to leave a number for a call back just like above and/or are automatically disconnected (waiting for someone on hold is not even an option). I can't believe it. So I send a reply email requesting a direct number to contact the service lead. She will not do it. They do not have or at least will not provide a separate number for their customers to reach customer service. Now isn't that just a perfect reflection of their commitment to providing customer care?!!! My goodness. It would be funny if not so embarrassingly aggravating.

Refuses to provide billling statements
Refuses to provide billling statements. So I can bill my insurance. They also never respond to emails or voicemails. The excuse is always “oh those emails come the marketing team, we don’t get them.”
Response from BodyLogicMDAug 29, 2018
Thank you for your comment. Urine testing is billed to your insurance by the lab, but blood work is typically out of pocket. We apologize for the trouble you have had trying to get a bill to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, and we will look into this moving forward. When testing is ordered, you should receive a receipt with coding included to provide your insurance company, however, consultation receipts would need to come from the office. Either way, this should be handled much more appropriately and timely. We will look into this and fix the broken links to ensure you do not have a hard time receiving this information in the future. Thank you again for sharing.
