I’m a 55 year old athletic man. I’m 6’4 -315 lbs . I have tried 2 pellet treatments costing well over $3,000 and nothing has changed. This program doesn’t work. I explained this to Rachel and she stated it takes 4-6 months for the pellets to start working. It’s been 5 months and I don’t feel any different. The costs here are outrageous and I will definitely not recommend this program to anyone. I feel like I was scammed . Rachel is very nice but spending all of that money and the product doesn’t work. Up front costs is a small house payment. I’m highly disappointed because I was really looking forward to having more energy and activity.

Dear Jack,
We are sorry that you have not had a positive experience with the pellet therapy. Everyone's hormone levels are unique, which means that not everyone will see results immediately. It is our understanding that your BodyLogicMD practitioner's office has reached out to you to discuss this matter further. Again, we are sorry that the pellet therapy has not met your expectations, and we hope that you feel better moving forward.

I am a 41 yo nurse anesthetist
I am a 41 yo nurse anesthetist, so I’m quite knowledgeable about traditional medicine. I am already very healthy. However, I was curious about this non-traditional medicine, and if I could feel even healthier or have more energy.
Company wasn’t really upfront about what total costs to expect even before anyone “sees” you. Lots of money spent upfront (Basically expect to blow $1500) for not even knowing if it will even help. Now that I’ve taken what is recommended for a little over two months, I see and feel absolutely no difference. You would think they would make something that is “SOooo good” more affordable upfront, and know that you would be a continual customer. Their business philosophy seems to be wring them dry as much as you can up front because we know our residual sales will be none.
Also, when you’ve already been fooled into spending so much money for four different charges and the annoying urine collection, you feel compelled to at least go on for a few months to indeed see if this is smoke and mirrors or if your money spent will actually be worth something.

Dear Tracy,
Thank you for your comment. We are sorry to hear about your experience. Please let me explain our side.
BodyLogicMD is not insurance based, so it operates a little different from a conventional doctor’s office. While you may be able to utilize your insurance for some of the requested lab tests, in most cases, out of pocket fees, do still apply. BodyLogicMD charges a processing fee any time testing is ordered – which is roughly 3-4 times a year. This processing and administration fee covers all of the back office work that is done related to your appointments and treatment. This fee is paid for a few weeks before your consultation when you decide to get started to order testing for upcoming appointments. If you visit a BodyLogicMD practice, you may notice that the in-office staff is much smaller than a traditional medical practice, and that’s because the practitioner has a support team that operates remotely and handles all of the administrative work. Doing this allows the practitioner to spend more time with you and focus entirely on your care, and while some may view this as an extra fee, in reality, it helps keep the consultation fees low compared to other concierge practices.
We are sorry that you felt misled and scammed – that is not our intention. All patients are sent an email upon getting started that outlines the costs that were reviewed. The consultation fee is paid to the practitioner at the time of your appointment and prescriptions costs are paid to the pharmacy or through the Auto-Orders department following. Prescription costs vary dependent upon your treatment plan.
Thank you again for your feedback, and we wish you the best in health moving forward.

Not true patient care..begins and ends with $$$
I am frustrated at the lack of patient care I received..my initial appointment was rushed with no clear plan, my emailed plan of action was confusing, incomplete, conflicting with other information provided, not applicable in some instances, cut and pasted from several different sources. I asked corp if I could transfer my care to another doctor hoping to get quality care. They transferred my files and asked for additional monies to complete lab work again and pay additional admin fees. Not a place I want to place my health or money with, if they are about the $ and not those they chose to provide care under their business. I already paid monies and still don't have a clear plan of care or an engaged doctor.

We are sorry that this didn't work out for you. It is our understanding that Dr. Garcia extended an additional refill for your medication while you seek treatment elsewhere. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. All the best in health moving forward.

Refused to try and help- gave big business response..."sorry you cant' leave a message for doctors"
I called BodyLogic to inquire about teens who need bio-identical hormones. The person answering tried to be sweet but shut me down and wasn't willing to ask any of the doctors if they might be able to help in any way. Currently teens who need bio-identical hormones are not served at all in the Chicago area and only mainline medicine hormones are available. This company gave a standard "so sorry" line and refused to even share a message with the doctors in this practice. I wish functional doctors really cared enough to try to help all people in need. Just like mainline medicine there are those that care and those that just want to make money and only help a select population. So sad for those left out.
Response from BodyLogicMDMar 25, 2020
Dear Diana,
We apologize for not being able to accommodate your request. Treating teens with bioidentical hormones is something that we leave up to each doctor, and it is just not something that most of our doctors will do. Unfortunately, the doctors in your area have chosen to not treat teens with bioidentical hormones, and the person you spoke with was just following their protocol. We are sorry again that we can't make this work for you, and we wish you the best of health moving forward.

So VERY Disappointed
My experience at Body Logic was very disappointing. I was under the impression that the Dr.s at Body Logic clinic cared and were there to help their patients with their needs. I could not have been more wrong. I am so disappointed in the way Dr. Schibly dumped me when I expressed concerns of the affordability of continuing with the program after already spending over $1500 for the initial start. Not even one care, thought or concern for me or my health. She could have at the VERY LEAST acknowledged my concerns and tried to offer options for me to stay with this program. Instead She canceled my prescriptions, my future scheduled appointments with her and future lab work without even talking to me. The cost of the program was very misleading. The original treatment was semi laid out but not totally clear. I was made to believe that from there on it would be much less costly, NOT SO and insurance covers nothing!
I would not recommend Body Logic to anyone at this time.

Warning signs...
I was a computer security specialist, and I learned to identify lots of signs of dubious businesses. i have been contacted repeatedly by BodyLogicMD to set up my appointment, and decided to look more closely.
My first warning was the email they sent me. The email was from "Robin Kramer" but the body of the message claimed to be from "Abigail Weathers". This is a common problem for spammers, and a warning flag for me.
The company also has a dubious business model, where they both "certify" the doctors, then sell them product. I will not judge BodyLogic, but my Dad got sucked into a similar scam with a vitamin company and it was a major pain to dig him out.
This is not a review, just a warning.
Response from BodyLogicMDFeb 6, 2020
Dear Stiv,
We apologize for the confusion, but this can be explained. The name discrepancy you noticed in the email was just due to one Patient Services representative covering for another while they were out of the office. We are already working on making sure that this does not happen again in the future.
In regards to certifying our doctors, that is just not something that BodyLogicMD has the authority to do. All of our practitioners are required to be Board Certified and have to meet a host of other requirements (listed below) before they can practice integrative medicine with BodyLogicMD. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us at [email protected].
--Physician must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in a clinical field that requires patient contact and in good standing with their associated college
--Physician must complete the Fellowship for Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine
--Physician must take part in continuing medical education in the area of anti-aging and functional medicine of no less than 150 credits accrued over a 3 year period
--Be an active member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M)
--Physician must pass both oral and written board of the American Board of Anti-Aging Physicians within 1 year of opening their practice
--Proof of Medical licensing, Course completions, Malpractice and successfully meet listed verification and interview requirements

Body logic is terrible
Body logic is terrible. I have been very patient with them for 2 years and they have screwed up my prescriptions consistently. Not faxing the script, not putting in the order period. You can’t get your doctor or his office to respond to you when you leave an email or voicemail. You call body logic and they can’t get them to respond either. Why pay for all this when you can’t even get service? Go somewhere else where they will actually send you meds when they take your money. Also if you have any questions good luck getting those answered in between appointments. There are lots of doctors, no need to waste your time and money on these guys.
