New Listings Match Your Boat Search is Clickbait!
I have a saved search and each day I receive an email from boattrader.com indicating there are "new" boats that match my saved search. I do into my search and it is the same boats that I have already viewed. It is annoying.

I had a number of scammers
I had a number of scammers. three with the exact same playbook, even the same opening sentence.

Boat Trader app is difficult to work with when selling your boat
I didn’t like how I was unable to go in and modify my cover photo as sale pending from my phone. Also, it is difficult to edit and format the boat’s description.

The latest version of the Boat Trader app allows sellers to edit their listings directly from the app, including updating photos and making changes to listing details. We're also continuing to improve the listing management experience based on feedback from sellers like you.

Disappointed
The process for listing my boat was fairly easy. I was not happy about the search tools and was very disappointed in the number of inquiries. My boat was a Grady 255 Freedom. When I searched for dual console boats in my area, my boat did not show up. I had a much greater number of people who were interested who saw the listing on Facebook. I probably would not use your service in the future.

Did not get one interested party to even give me a call or text through Boatrader Sold it on Facebook Market Place.

Why list a boat if you don't respond
Brokers spend a lot of money advertising on Boat Trader, I know because i am a broker. however, half of them never get back to you when you inquire about a boat. I am in the market for a boat down in Florida for my personal use and I am shocked when I reach out on a listing, tell them I am a serious buyer and want to see a boat and never get a return email or call. This is not a reflection on Boat Trader as much as it is on their advertisers.

Useful platform but clearly needs better oversight.
Many of the listings in the class of boat that I am looking at use stock pictures or videos. When looking at the boat in person, it becomes obvious that this is a bait-and-switch. Boat Trader should also require the seller to disclose that the boat has been a charter with a 'yes/no' required response. Boat Trader should also show buyers how many days the boat has been listed for sale. The emails that I get from Boat Trader say 'New Listings' when they are clearly not new listings and have been in the platform for months.

The lack of response from some of these…
The lack of response from some of these sellers is disappointing. Either they are not aware of how the Boat Trader platform works or they truly do not want to sell their vessel. It not only wastes potential buyer's time but blemishes Boat Traders web image as not being a reputable site to conduct business. Boat Trader needs to follow up with some of these sellers that literally have had boats on their site for months if not years and have been nonresponsive. It's either you're selling or you're not selling or get off the pot.
