I have been very impressed by Simeon Wong and others I have met through BlueSteps. May be more appropriate for rising managers not executives
As an executive, I felt the service is more appropriate for managers or those interested in rising to management levels. The webinar sessions were elementary and seemed out of date with current trends. I actually felt sorry for the executive networking presenter - the title of webinar more appropriately should have been networking for beginners. Job postings are links to entry level to jr positions on Indeed! A representative did contact me and share they have a technology glitch - It seems to be a glitch for 6+ months - that seems like a long time for resolution without explanation on the site. I was surprised to be contacted by BlueSteps representative and was pleased by interest in my feedback and resolution of my inquiry. The proof will be in actions taken -

Paying for the privilege to be sold to
I thought premium membership would bring me a higher profile with the recruiting organisations that are part of BlueSteps. It hasn't; instead there is content which I do not find useful. There have been no relevant roles posted by members, the site just links to Indeed. Any interaction is with people wanting to upsell their products. I am really disappointed, there is no value for me from the membership fee.
