If you're looking to avoid a scam, do not engage with Bluegreen Vacations' salesperson in Bass Pro Shops. They will lure you into a too good to be true deal by offering gift cards from AMEX and Bass Pro Shop in exchange for attending a timeshare presentation in one of their hotels. Don't fall for it - they will charge you $200 upfront with no cancellation options. Even if you try to cancel due to health issues, they'll still charge you a $99 cancellation fee. The website has no cancel button for hotel bookings, and even their phone support is unhelpful and unavailable on weekends. We regret not reading reviews prior to our booking and advise others to do the same. It's unfortunate that Bass Pro Shop is associated with business that harass people and has such deceitful practices.

My husband was approached at a bass pro shop to take advantage of a “free stay” at one of Blue Green’s resorts in exchange to listen to two- hour presentation. We chose to travel to Williamsburg, VA to stay at company’s resort at Patrick Henry Square. I knew going in that we were not going to purchase a timeshare and we held fast to that. While the sales rep was professional and pleasant, her manager was extremely condescending and could not seem to grasp why we were unwilling to finance a $17,000 vacation package over 10 years at 17 percent, as well as pay $1,000 in yearly maintenance fees. We walked out of there after 2 1/2 hours with a $100 gift card which we spent on souvenirs in Colonial Williamsburg. I wish I had read the reviews about this company before attending presentation so I would have had more ammunition in presenting my argument in why we did not wish to purchase. In general, do your research before making the decision to buy one of these timeshares. I am so glad that we did not purchase.

I booked a reservation for St. Petersburg Beach months ago, understanding that this was a holiday weekend. I was promised a beach front location at purchase. I received multiple conformation e-mails that stated the check in location was 5501 Gulf Boulevard Suite 106, St. Petersburg Beach, FL 33706. Today; two days prior to my check in, I received a call stating that our stay would be in Carillon. I live in St. Petersburg and I am closer to the beach than Carillon. I am extremely upset that our holiday weekend is now essentially ruined as a result of Blue Green vacation. I called and spoke with Jason at 9:08 this morning. The call lasted 16 minutes long. He was not helpful. I asked to speak with a supervisor and he told me that I could not speak with one. He later said that I could put in for a supervisor request but the callback window was 72 hours and there was no guarantee that someone would call me back. I called back and spoke with a woman who put me on hold for 20 minutes and then said there was nothing she could do for me. If this is the kind of treatment that I receive from BlueGreen vacations, why would I ever consider purchasing a timeshare?

We purchased this vacation package in June 2022, for $299.00. Between December of 2022 and April of 2023, we experienced multiple hospital visits and a death in the family. The end result of this chaos is equivalent to over $100,000 in medical bills. I called their customer service to ask for a refund for this vacation package because we will never be able to use it now, and we need every penny we can scrape together, for medical bills. The only solution they provided was to extend the time we had to use it. We have neither the time nor the resources for this option. I explained that we are on the brink of being homeless because of these medical bills and we need every penny we can get. I explained that even if they extended the time for another 10 years, we still would not be able to use this package. We do not have the physical or financial ability to do so. I even offered to send them copies of the medical bills to prove that I'm being truthful. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that they have supervisors, but they don't talk to customers on the phone. I tried to reason with them as much as I possibly could, but they aren't willing to budge, even with extreme unforeseen circumstances. We didn't just change our mind about taking a vacation; it just became an impossibility. Just want a simple refund of my $299.00.

i went to home expo while there seen vendor for bluegreen vacations i bought vacation package for $399 got my pink copy and left when calling to reserve they say im not in system checking my credit card i see it was billed to another company not bluegreen. this is in review pending investigation please be careful make sure you get receipt and itinerary number best to call before you buy to find out what you need to confirm a vacation. the rep ignacio mendiola scammed me

Booked a trip for my wife and I in December. We started our separation this month... I called customer support to try and remove her from my booking.. they are unable to do this. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am now unable to go on this trip whatsoever and not able to be refunded, what kind of crap is that?? The only choice I have it to produce a divorce decree... Not gonna happen in 2 months.. I can't believe this company has such bad morals and refuse any customer support. I would give 0 stars if I could. Do not trust this company with your money or vacation, go somewhere else. I will never recommend this company to anyone I know. I'm hoping some person up in the tanks sees this and is able to correct it. I am going to talk to my bank because this ridiculous policy. You guys suck. I've gone through so much stuff lately, my wife took my kid across the country and I just needed a fing weekend..

This is a money trap, do not contract with this crap company. if you changed your mind to get out, there are no refunds. They do the opposite of what they say. they told us we can sell it anytime we want, but we found out this is a joke, we can not sell it, till we pay all the payments. They are LIERS. AWFUL, AWFUL, HORRIBLE.

I had a horrible experience with this company. They have 1.8 stars for a reason. I wish I had seen that before I spent money. They sold me a vacation package to any of their destinations and told me that the resorts were pet friendly. Not one of the resorts are pet friendly. Then they advised me to just tell the resort that my pets are service animals! That's not even legal!! You can't lie and say your pets are service animals. When I tried to get a refund they refused and just offered to extend my dates. Their customer service is the most uncomfortable fake friendly I have ever experienced. What a waste of money!!
