Do not under ANY circumstances connect in any way with this company. We were lured in (stupid, I know) by a getaway weekend for $279 in Pigeon Forge. Listen to the sales pitch! NO vacation is worth what they will put you through. Charming sales people who will wear you down until you say yes or simply walk out. By the time you stay in a grungy carpeted room at a Quality Inn at 3756 Parkway in Pigeon Forge, you should get the idea that nothing good is coming your way. Don't be stupid; just don't book! So sorry we ever got involved with bluegreenvacations.com. Canceling contract per legal guidelines, they must follow the law!

They refused to cancel my reservation and issue a refund as promised. They do absolutely EVERYTHING to keep you on the phone trying to sell you an alternative, keep your deposit. AVOID BLUEGREEN AT ALL COSTS. They put you on hold, shift to another person, tell you that you do not understand their process and then disconnect when you do not agree forcing you to start the entire process again. SCAM!!!!

If your points are paid for you can give them back by paying 1.5 years of maintenance fees to rid yourself of this timeshare. It’s called responsible exit. They can be reached by the same phone number used to call BG.

I want everyone to know that Bluegreen has what they call a Responsible Exit program. Just call their regular number and ask to be transferred over to that department. If you have upcoming reservations tell them to transfer your reservations over to the house. Don't wait because if you do, the fee to exit will go up. Apparently this program has been around for 2 years but they are not trying to advertise it.

Run!!!!! Do not buy Bluegreen. The resorts are old and very substandard We would love to sell our shares. We are in Aruba now and the hotel is horrible. We tried to upgrade but the hotel said that bluegreen only gets certain rooms. We COMPLETELY regret buying bluegreen.

Bluegreen vacations is like every other timeshare model out there. The lore you in with what seems like a bargain vacation at the price of having to sit through their presentation. Then they stick you in accommodations that are not what they promised when you signed up while their site salesman use pressure sales techniques to try to get you buy into their membership program. What they say in their sales pitch seems relatable and legitimate until you really dig into the numbers of what you are getting for the price they are pitching it at. You don't have time to really crunch those numbers though because they tell you that if you walk out you can not get access to their great deal ever again. Lets be clear, you are not buying ownership in anything. You are paying a $50,000 membership fee to use their facilities with a annual fee of about $2000 a year ever year after that. If you don't want it anymore, you just stop paying the yearly fee, but you are still stuck with the initial loan you took out for the 50K. This is not an asset, there is no selling this to recoup your money or pay it off. This is not a scam. You do get something for what you are paying. They don't lie to you either, if you ask the right questions they will give you an honest answer. They are however not forthright with the facts, and the facts they do share are skewed to present the picture they want you to buy into. This might be right for some people, but make sure you understand what you are getting into before you take part in one of they look-and-see events.

I would suggest that everyone stay away from this place. When I booked my vacation, I was told I would be in this luxurious resort in San Antonio but on the way to the resort, we were moved to a Courtyard hotel. They say they don’t do a high pressure sales pitch but every time we said no, they came back with a different offer. The first one was $53000, the second was $43000 and the last was $18000. We still said no and ran out as quick as we could. I’m glad we did after reading the other reviews!
