We are sick and tired of getting the exact same runaround from Bluegreen. Every time we call and talk to someone, we get told the same story as the last time. They refuse to do anything to help us unless we pay them. We simply do not use this like we thought we would. Not to mention the maintenance fees have increased a tremendous amount over the years, making it an endless monetary cycle. We originally hoped our kids would enjoy it when we were done, but that is definitely not going to happen now. We have already spent five figures with this company, yet they treat us like that does not matter. We have tried to cancel due to constant misrepresentations and the severe strain this puts on our family, but they just deny our requests. This entire situation has been exhausting and frustrating. Save your hard earned money and stay far away from Bluegreen.

these people are scam artists and Choice hotels is right in there with them. I tried getting my money back because legally there is a cooling off period- theu ignored me so i disputed the charge. they also advertise the thing they are teyikg to sell for less money in the choice app but. regardless they onlu just sent me the "welcome" email once i disputed it. scam artists.

We’ve been trying to get out of our Bluegreen contract for a while now, and it’s been nothing but a headache. A rep named Jamarr reached out to us initially, which made us think we might actually get somewhere, but then he just went totally silent. No follow-up, not anything, he just ghosted us. After the silence, we got another letter saying they won’t cancel our contract and that it’s their "final communication." It’s infuriating. They keep pointing us to "options" like transferring the title, selling it on the secondary market, or paying them huge fees for "owner relief." That’s not help; that’s just another way for them to keep taking our money. We were misled when we bought this, and now they won’t even listen. We just want out, but they’ve made it clear they don't care.

Honestly, better than Marriott Vacation, but still terrible. The first hour is a group pitch, which is a nice touch, and I thought the 1:1 would be 30min or less given all of the core points were hit. But then the 1:1 took 1.5hrs. Even after showing zero interest and saying on three separate occasions “This is NOT for us,” they still tried to push by saying “What’s your reason?” I dont have to give you a goddamn reason. We were there for the mini benefits and were never going to sign. For those of you wondering what the deal with BGV is, its very simple and so stupid; you pay anywhere between $25-35k upfront for ~20yrs of vacation. Trust me, it’s not worth it. They’ll pitch you on discounts on car rental, flights, shopping, etc. When I told them I rented a car from Miami for $150 for our 5 day trip (Expedia -> Sixt), they were flabbergasted. When I told them I can get a hotel right now with Marriott for $84 that doesnt have any stupid resort fees, crickets. They’ll try and pitch it to you as a real estate investment, but last time I checked, an investment pays me out in cash cash. This takes your cash, forces blackout dates, and will rip you off. Do yourself a favor, walk away from ALL timeshares.

My Bluegreen experience started off great but slowly turned sour. I sat through that infamous, high pressure sales pitch way back in the day, lured by the idea of creating lasting memories. The representatives made it seem like I had to buy right then, dragging the meeting out for over an hour and a half until I finally caved. For the first few years, I honestly got a lot of good use out of the points package. But then kids grow up and life happens. Nowadays, I don’t see any use in taking trips with Bluegreen. The important thing to know about Bluegreen is that even if your timeshare is collecting dust, you better believe those bills will continue coming in and going up in price every year. Think twice before locking yourself into a timeshare

Avoid Bluegreen Vacations at all costs. We've been trying to cancel our timeshare because it's no longer practical. Despite our timeshare being fully paid off, they demanded 2.5 years of maintenance fees just to take the property back. They make it incredibly easy to get in but impossible to leave, even when you're struggling. Save yourself the stress and money.

If you enjoy throwing your money into a bottomless pit, Bluegreen Vacations is the company for you. We sat through a brutal 6 hour presentation where they promised us the moon just to get a signature. The sales reps even gave us "off the record" advice, whispering that we could rent out our points to cover costs or gift weeks to our contractors for tax write-offs. Total lies. They also swore our maintenance fees wouldn't go up. Yearly maintenance fees increase in cost yearly. To put it in perspective, they charge us MORE in fees than we pay in property tax for our actual, physical house! And what do we get for that kind of money? “Sold out”, “No availability”...When we did manage to book their Las Vegas property, our son-in-law’s room had literal bed bugs. We strongly advise against doing business with this company.

Misleading Information Cost Me Time and Caused an Unnecessary Refund Problem I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Bluegreen. Before signing up, I repeatedly asked your representative whether I could book a hotel or stay in Daytona Beach, Florida using the membership. Daytona Beach was the specific destination I wanted, and I made that very clear. Your representative repeatedly told me that the answer was yes. Based on those assurances, I signed up and paid my deposit. When I later went online to book my trip, I discovered that I could not find an available Bluegreen location in Daytona Beach as I had been led to believe. This raises a serious question: Why was I repeatedly told that I could use the membership for Daytona Beach if that was not actually available? I canceled my membership because I would not have signed up if I had received accurate information initially. Then I experienced additional problems getting my deposit refunded. Instead of simply receiving my money back in my account, I am now being required to wait for a paper check. This entire situation could have been avoided if I had simply been given accurate information before I signed up and paid my money. I expect companies to be honest and accurate when answering direct questions from potential customers. My experience did not meet that expectation.
