Went into Bass Pro to shop and was invited to get a Bass Pro Credit card. As an incentive there was a sales rep from Blue Green Vacations who said for $299 you can have a 3 day vacation in one of many of their resorts. At no time were we told it was a timeshare property, that we would not be staying at one of the resorts but staying offsite, we would be responsible for the hotel taxes, and that we would have to sit through a 2 hr presentation. It was only after we reviewed the pamphlet in detail that we realized this was a timeshare. Called and wanted to cancel and was told they would not refund the $299 that was charged to our cc. Decided to make the best of it and take a trip. We traveled to Myrtle Beach and sat through a 2 hr presentation. It was the worse experience. The slick salesman tired to be funny but at times he was vulgar and offensive. During his spiel, he was trying to compare a hotel room with a 2 bedroom condo. He said with a hotel room, the parents are in one bed and the kids in the other and that you can't get "nasty with momma in the am" with kids in the same room. Then he points to a couple and says "Am I right?" and starts laughing. There were young kids in the room and I was embarrassed he was talking about morning sex with young kids in the room. He also said with a hotel room you only have one bathroom and when momma gets up in and "blows up the bathroom in the am" is the reason you need two bathrooms. Totally uncalled for. Most of the presentation was pics of him and his son on numerous vacations. He bragged how he has 20000 points and that he takes several vacations a year and doesn't pay for any of his trips. It was 2 hrs of pure hell. After the presentation we had a sit down with our own rep who was nice and pleasant. We explained the whole thing starting with the bass pro visit, and that had we known from the start we would not have even entertained purchasing the vacation. The only upside is that our personal rep knew that we were not at all interested and did not try to pressure us or keep us any longer than necessary.

Stayed here 2 years ago and loved this as a vacation spot came back last week and never had a such a terrible vacation ac went out twice our keypad for our room had been broken so there was no getting in and had to wait 20 minutes for maintenance not to mention the fact they like to close the pool every 30 minutes because of “rain” and every time they had closed it it stayed perfectly sunny and not a rain cloud in sight save your money and go somewhere else anywhere but a blue green vacation spot.

Beware of these Bluegreen vacation timeshare salesmen who approach you offering cheap vacation packages which are theft because they are thieves. They just want to sell you expensive time shares. I don't know how the resort allows these crooks to be there offering such garbage. People are just looking to rest and not be ripped off by this thieving company Bluegreen Vacation.

I don't care what they say on the phone...don't trust them! They lie and scheme to get your money. The promises are empty; there is always a catch. They will always put you in terrible rooms; it's the game they play. Then they show you super nice hotels on the tour. They make you think you need the product and give you one price but don't explain the interest rates and maintenance fees. I'm so done with them; I hope they go out of business soon with their shady business practices. Just giving a warning.

Total waste of money!! We are points owner who were promised a quality product and got a bucket of crap. I would not recommend this to anyone!

These people are HORRIBLE! I purchased my vacation pack and tour almost 2 years ago for $250. I was engaged at the time and thought it would be a nice get away and something we may be really interested in once we were married. I gave this information freely to the customer service rep that I spoke to. Long story short, marriage was annulled shortly after the wedding day, the vacation got postponed several times due to my life/work schedule. I asked if I could just get my $ back. That’s a NO. I finally decided I would take 2 of my adult children with me and go. I called to make the reservation. I was completely humiliated by their questions, was I married, did I have proof? What was income now that I was single? I answered all of their questions which I qualified for originally on my own without my finance. When the confirmation call came, I was asked again, “I see you aren’t married now, do you have a copy of your divorce papers? Do you have a credit card in your name? Do you make enough money on your own?” I understand those questions are to qualify you for being eligible to make a purchase of their timeshare. But to word it in such a humiliating way. Then, to top it all off, I arrive with two adult children 40 and 38 years old. There’s only one bed. My reservation was confirmed two weeks before (and those same questions asked again) the week before, the day before and the day of arrival. And yet they didn’t have accommodations for us. These are horrible people and I will NEVER entertain a purchase from them again. And by the way, I told them so on the phone and mysteriously when I got to the presentation I was told I didn’t need to attend. Though I was NOT even remotely interested in buying anything at this point, they knew this and couldn’t even meet with me to tell me after I went to an 8:45 am meeting. They could’ve just told me that on the phone and saved me the time and effort.

They pressured me into a vacation deal that I really didnt want and didnt let me talk it over with my husband first. When I (finally) got off the phone, my wallet almost 200 dollars lighter, my husband unsurprisingly was against it. I tried to call them back and OF COURSE there's no real way to get back in contact with them until Monday. Aaarrrgh I should have just hung up!

Do yourself a HUGE favor, and stay far, far away from these lying, no good, money hungry, conniving, con artists! Don't even waste your time by going to ANY of their "previews!" They will talk a lot of hype, but cannot deliver on anything. You'd be far better off by saving for a vacation than to fall for their bogus hype. In fact, Don't waste your time messing with the Marriott Vacation Group either. They are ALL nothing but a bunch of scam artists doing all they can to steal your hard earned money!
