My husband purchased this Bluegreen Vacation in January of 2023. Immediately, I questioned the person who sold it to us about the expiration date. The paper showed 1 year, but he (the seller at BassPro where we bought the plan) said he fixed it for 2 years. That was the 1st lie! During the 1st year Bluegreen Vacations continously harassed us to make a reservation. I finally made the reservation just to stop the harassment. Today I tried to cancel the reservation (2 months in advance), because of health reasons, and they want me to pay a $49 fee for cancelation, which was not told to us AND is not in the paperwork.. I've already paid $249 for the package! This company and method of doing business is bad news folks...DO NOT INVOLVE YOURSELVES WITH THEM, AVOID THEM AT ALL COST. If you engage with them I guarantee it will cost you much more in the long run. Very unscrupulous people!!!!!!!

DON’T TRUST THEM
I had a terrible experience with Bluegreen Vacations from start to finish, and I want to warn others to avoid falling into the same trap I did. From the moment I first spoke to one of their agents, I was misled. The agent hyped up their hotels as luxurious resorts, promising an incredible experience. But when I arrived, it was clear that these locations were far from the luxury I was sold on. The reality was extremely disappointing and felt like a complete bait and switch.
The worst part is that they conveniently left out critical details during the sales pitch. The agent assured me that there were "no strings attached" to this vacation package, which couldn’t have been further from the truth. When I arrived at the destination, I was informed that I had to attend a mandatory timeshare seminar. This was never mentioned to me upfront. I felt trapped and deceived, especially because the whole reason I signed up was that it was supposed to be a stress-free vacation without any obligations.
Every time I interacted with Bluegreen Vacations, there was always some new "gotcha" that they conveniently forgot to tell me about beforehand. It felt like I was being scammed at every turn. The lack of transparency and honesty from the start was appalling.
The most frustrating part of the entire experience was when I arrived to check in. I informed the staff that my husband and I were separated, but still legally married, only to be told that I could not proceed with the vacation because of this. Their attitude was dismissive, essentially saying, "too bad." There was no empathy, no understanding—just a cold, hard refusal to accommodate my situation. To make matters worse, I was told I would lose the money I had already paid because of this.
I can't express how humiliated I felt in that moment. The staff snickered and made a scene in the office, as if my marital issues were something to be mocked. It was one of the most degrading experiences I've ever had, and it made me realize just how little Bluegreen Vacations cares about its customers. They have no compassion or understanding—only a desire to squeeze every last dollar out of you.
I strongly advise anyone considering a vacation with Bluegreen to think twice. This company operates just like every other shady timeshare outfit, using high-pressure tactics and deceptive marketing to lure you in. Once you're in, they don’t care about your experience or your personal circumstances—they just want your money. Their agents are untrustworthy, and the entire operation is a scam. Save yourself the headache and avoid Bluegreen Vacations at all costs.

Bluegreen - poor customer service
I am a Bluegreen owner. I logged in successfully to view possible dates for booking a vacation about 6 days ago. And now no access at all. I have tried for 3 days with no luck. Won't let me reset password. I have deleted browser history. Allowed 3rd party cookies and tried 3 different devices. Of course, the date I want to book opens today but, no customer service available at this time.

Lies by omission and oversteps your clear boundaries
I can't believe I was sold a vacation package by these people. I called Choice Hotels to change an existing reservation and they transferred me to these people. They sold me a 3-night stay package for $199 and I should have looked into the company while on the phone with them to see all of the negative reviews. I normally think of myself as a smart person but I was definitely duped, lol. When I called to cancel, the woman on the phone kept pressuring me and saying "well people write bad reviews all of the time, why don't you just have your own experience?" yeah I'm not willing to travel all the way somewhere to be sold a timeshare with high-pressure sales tactics. I think if hundreds of other people write bad reviews, that speaks for itself. I had to set extremely firm boundaries with the lady on the phone. She kept trying to convince me to change my mind. If she really wants me to have my own experience with this company... I just did. With her. And it wasn't positive. Thanks for wasting 2 hours of my time.

My wife and I got scammed by a sales…
My wife and I got scammed by a sales rep, we thought it was just a 3 night stay, found out it had strings attached to it. Do yourself a favor, run away from this company and don't look back!

Bass pro/Bluegreen vacation promotional trip
I purchased a promotion vacation through Bass Pro.
Two nights in a two bath two bed condo for $250. I was required to attend a two hr. presentation after the presentation I got two $75 gift cards.
I was led to believe that I had paid for everything when I completed the sale. Imagine my surprise when my credit card was charged another $150 dollars an hour into the return trip home. When I called to find out about the charge I was told it was the taxes for the nights we stayed and was referred to Bluegreen vacations.
The complaint representative at Bluegreen vacations went back and pulled the recording were I booked and paid for the rooms. After listening to the recording where it was CLEAR that I thought the taxes were already paid I was told that the "representative was new", I had not paid the taxes, and I "needed to be reasonable."
I booked three extra days through Bluegreen that I paid full price for. This vacation company charged me what they called "Full Price" without telling me that taxes were not included in the "Full Price".
This doesn't address the UPGRADED condo that I paid extra for. My stay at the D'Monaco was much less than expected. My first clue should have been when no one was there to check me in. I had to call to get someone to come check me in. My reservation was for two days instead of the five nights I paid for. Not once during the check in process was I told that taxes had not been paid for.
I wasn't told about the taxes when I checked out because there was no one to check me out. There was a sign to call if I needed help. I called and got no answer. So I dropped the key cards in the drop box and left.
Free breakfast did not start until 8:00 which meant you didn't get breakfast unless you slept in. One morning we left late specifically so we could have breakfast before we left for the day. There was no breakfast that day because the propane was out and they couldn't cook. When we were able to eat, the breakfast was pretty good.
Each part of the facility has an unpleasant smell. The lobby, restaurant, room, and parking lot all have different yet still unpleasant smells.
I'm sure the facility was once amazing it has run down and not been maintained well. The view and balcony were great.
I would not recommend any Bass pro promotional trip or the D'Monaco and Bluegreen vacations.

Total scam. Straight out lying, shady practices, and lying by omission. BBB needs to investigate. They owe me a $199 refund for failing to deliver what they promised me at the price they promised me, and, after reading other comments on here, I can see I am not the only one. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM. Simply Google "bluegreen vacation scams" and you can see for yourself.
