I recently passed my CFA level 3 and became a CFA charterholder. As part of the scholarship program, advertised when I signed up, they agreed to reimburse any fees once my level 3 exam was passed. I submitted the refund form and never heard back from them. Avoid at all costs!! This is not to mention that the quality of the content is quite poor/mediocre (had to revert back to the CFA course).

Scholarship scam: They no longer list the “scholarship” on their website but… You pay a $450 deposit to “apply” for a “scholarship” They ask for additional details to “review your eligibility” But they auto approve you regardless if you respond or not, Contradict their own terms of service (which are also no longer in their website) Refuse to issue refunds in accordance with their own terms of service, Did not deliver any product or service in my specific case. The marketing is incredibly misleading. It isn’t a scholarship, it’s clearly a discounted program. Which is fine but… Advertise it that way. If that’s what it is. And once again the kicker is… I didn’t recieve anything at all from them. No course access or materials. Nothing. Avoid.

I feel that the scholarship programme is a scam. The materials are all over the place and quite hard to follow due to the topics being shifted all the time by the computer system. The worst is no one explained to you that the premium programme that I signed up actually expired in 12 months and no one told you that when you signed up. I was told when I signed up that you could get the refund if you show them your registration with CFA in 5 years. But you actually have to pay to extend the materials. Premium only for 12 months. I had another exam in August 2025 so I could not do much studying. I just finished my other exam in August. But I could not revise on Bloomberg prep caused I have been logged out stating expired programme. Then tried to get help but hard to get to costumer service. My only way is to write the review to see whether I could get any reply from them to get an extension and to get clarification. I thought scholarships meant it should be free and there should not be hidden fees to extend every 12 months. I already paid almost 500 pounds for deposit.

I used to trust the brandname of Bloomberg as a source of reliable material. What a disappointment when I tried the free trial for the exam prep (CFA II). The platform has a very appealing design and is very user-friendly. And that's about the only (non essentiel) quality of the website. The content is not in line with the official CFA program, the questions are definitely not in the adequate format (no vignette). You have to complete several modules to unlock other ones, so there's no use if you just want to review a particular chapter/section. There's no QBank that let you design your desired set of questions. The mock exams is not available during the free trial (very misleading). There's no ask-a-tutor question (misleading again). No live sessions. No download. When I realized the platform was a complete waste, I decided to cancel the subscription. Yet I didn't receive a confirmation for the cancellation, nor any reply from the support. Scared my account would be withdrawn from the amount, I had to close my bank account. No wonder they try to trick people with the scholarship.

This program (CFA Level III) was a total waste of time. It focuses on material that is far away from the CFA LOS. It appears to be based on the curriculum from 5+ years ago based on the CFA guideline answers that are posted online. The software is very sloppy. When trying to the take mock exams online it constantly pauses and deletes your responses, so you have to re-write answers 3x over. It marked me wrong for questions I got right. There are writer comments (like, software developer comments) in the vignettes. Overall, it's no help at all for passing the exam. It may actually do more harm than good. Update: Chad, in response to your comment- I did contact you at one point and received no response.

Terrible service use Kaplan. Their “AI” tech is ineffective. The software experiences lots of glitches and outages. They have some technology timeouts that reduces study times reported so they can make claims on how effective it is. You screen time browser for example will say you spent 2 hours there and they claim 45-75 minutes. They basically just take the content and add a couple questions to it, grammar issues and more
