There regulations are too strict. They should learn from platforms like facebook, twitter and instagram. How can it be vote manipulation when i am in control of my own account? To be honest this policy is just unnecessary (unless information being circulated is false or spam) and the fact that it can get your account permanently suspended/banned is just ridiculous.

Opsigelse umuliggjort...

A breeding ground for groupthink, censorship and aggression
It used to be good. The concept of Reddit as a site is awesome. However over the years they have been blocking and banning subreddits with opposing viewpoints to theirs. Meanwhile, disturbing pornographic subs stay running.
When bias and echo chambers take over ANY website, information becomes distorted, and intelect and open-mindedness decrease.
You in charge of the app have the power to change this. And I hope you do, or else I hope people leave in droves for a site they can speak freely.

This is an online forum to ask questions. I found it hard to use. Things that should be simple are complicated. You are given a limited time to have your question open. After a time, Reddit will close your question and no more answers will be accepted. This is a very stupid policy. I asked one question about Star Wars two years ago and no one answered even though it indicated that it had views.
Mostly people posts asinine jokes that are very dated and I get tired of reading them. You may use this if you have a burning question that is popular, otherwise I recommend that you try your luck somewhere more reliable.
The most common use for this site is the IAmA for professionals or celebrities who have a unique experience and offer a chance for people to ask them anything. Example: I Am A movie star, Ask me Anything.
I need to add that this site discriminates users if your opinions do not agree with their unenlightened administrators. Find a better forum for asking questions. Yahoo Answers was much better and will get immediate responses to any question.
FINAL COMMENT: Reddit does not believe in the freedom of speech, the First Amendment of the United States Constitution. They are unAmerican because they do not believe in these ideals. Reddit administrators harass their users when they censor them. I have firsthand experience in this. They are the perfect candidate for a for a class-action lawsuit.

Deeply flawed, staff just don't care..
Reddit can be a good place to contribute to discussions, and can be good to find answers to questions through Google search. However, I'd say their website and its staff are deeply flawed. I've reported sub-reddits that are trolling or are promoting hate and it seems if it doesn't contain an actual offensive word (even if all the posts are hateful) the Reddit support team will deny your request (I swear they're a bunch of old yt guys who just deny anything to do with equality and inclusivity to get a power kick). On another note, moderators are extremely slow at taking down hateful or inappropriate content (they're not getting paid so why would they), and half the time they don't even get to the request or it just gets ignored. They also have a lot of power, which I'm not too much of a fan of. They hardly ever respond to messages either. Additionally, I find reddits general sub Reddit creation system deeply flawed, as a lot of hateful groups can go up and no one would notice or care until there was a public reaction. There is also a lack of moderation in subreddits too, allowing more hate to filter through the cracks. I have to say, Reddit lacks much care, and I honestly think they let trolls, bullies, racists, sexists, ableists, homophobics etc. remain on the site as they probably care more about having more users and getting paid more than anything else (kinda like Facebook).
edit: would like to add, the hive mind is REAL. I asked someone to clarify something they said, came back the next day to -31 votes. A lot of the morons on this site basically are thoughtless and follow the crowd because they enjoy downvoting. Having a different opinion also gets you tons of downvotes (and I say this as someone who is incredibly careful with how I word things to be as inclusive and positive as possible). And there are subreddits dedicated to demeaning and objectifying women and certain races through p*rnography, which is vile. There are also subreddits dedicated to posting ''s*xy'' pics of underage teenage cheerleaders. It's basically an internet cesspool of incels, p*dos, racists, sexists and more neckbeards (apart from a select few subreddits which try to be inclusive and welcoming, such as r/feminism, etc.).
I think the whole karma system needs to be thrown out. I appreciate likes are good, but karma itself on people's profiles - it's a dopamine driving thing that makes people just want to write the ''trendy'' or ''edgy'' things to get tons of upvotes.

They Make Accounts Invisible if People Try to Fight Against Reddit's Echo Chamber
Your account becomes invisible if you fight against dehumanizing censorship on Reddit's platform. Reddit has become an echo chamber platform that will waste your brain cells with very dumb memes, mindless porn, and simps. The simpery is hardcore on this platform, I tell ya.
