Could be great. Its bad because you cant express your controversial opinion or you will get downvoted to hell and will have a timer to respond to people who are commenting on your thread.

If you have respectful yet unpopular opinions or non mainstream interests, prepare for harassment and bullying. Ironically the users of this site love to complain about Quora who do the exact same thing...

Reddit is a mean, mean place. Consistently, whatever you post there you people will be jerks to you. Not a good place to get your questions answered. Reddit is also a crappy traffic source. A bunch of times I've had shareworthy stuff that I posted on Reddit and it either got censored or never reached traction. I give it two stars because it does have a lot of users. Every once in a while I actually get good info from a subreddit. Some of the subreddit are not that bad.

People would downvote you before any open conversation can be made about your comment.

Unfortunately some groups are not as good as others,living here in the Vancouver British Columbia area if you write something even if it's about another culture they say it's racist even if it's true so they censor you but will still let bad things happen just as long as it doesn't get publicized, and they don't mind publicizing violence but just don't say if it has anything to do with racism or anything

It's a giant echo chamber of the globalist left. In most of its sub-forums you will be severely censored and verbally abused, sometimes also doxxed, if you don't adhere to their stereotypical points of view. There are also subforums that are, in theory, just for fun, but it's very easy to be banned even there, if you don't adhere to their peculiar, often not democratic, rules.

A lot of censorship as of late. But one of the best websites back before politics ruined it.
