The BLINK doorbell keeps randomly setting off the internal wired bell, have contacted BLINK Customer Support several times but just get an acknowledgement that I have raised an issue but no actual support.
Looks like Customer and Technical support on the product is non-existant, really worry that Warranty and Support just isnt REAL!!!

POS System will work only if you buy…
POS System will work only if you buy the plan, but it's expensive if you have multiple cameras, which most people do. It doesn't work if you try to use the flash drive. The system crashes as long as the flash drive is in, and you can't save anything to the flash drive. The upload is also very slow so you can't see anything on the camera until minutes past receiving the alert. You will spend hours on the phone with customer service, who will send you on some bizarre witch/scavenger hunt doing seemingly meaningless steps. Then the next day the system doesn't work all over again. I want to get paid to be a customer service rep since I've spent many hours trying to get my system to work.

Terrible
Terrible, unreliable.
After a year you MUST SUBSCRIBE TO A SUBSCRIPTION. Then you realise you can save clips to a USB device with no subscription.
But this only works for a while and then that stops working. This is to force you again to sign up

Blink Hardware/Firmware is FLAWED
I have 2 legacy cloud cameras that still record to cloud no problem.
I also added a blink doorbell, a motion floodlight, blink mini, and sync module 2. None of these will record to local storage for more than a few hours before it stops. I still get notifications of movement...but they do not record to usb at all.
Upon contacting blink they had me reformat my usb stick. That didn't work so they blamed my internet provider and router. I have 1gb download internet, 100mbps upload...a brand new modem (2023). Every other wifi device in my home works fine...no connections issues. Blink has major hardware issues.
This is the actual response you will get to save you time. If you get this customer rep call back and get another.
"Given the nature of the issues you have been experiencing, we would advise reaching out to your internet service provider directly to discuss the configuration of your network. There are a few different things that you will want to have them check for when reviewing your network configuration/benchmarks.
- Upload speed - The Blink system requires a consistent minimum upload speed of 2Mbps. Any result lower than 2Mbps can cause latency and/or issues establishing or maintaining a connection.
- Network congestion - Many devices accessing and utilizing the network at once can result in connectivity issues with your Blink system as network bandwidth is limited.
- Old routing equipment - Sometimes, the sheer age of a router can be the cause of connectivity issues. Despite a router being new to you, you may want to check on the age of the model of the router you have. We recommend a router model that is less than 5 years old to ensure it can support the latest technology. If you are renting your router from your internet service provider, you may want to discuss the possibility of an upgrade if it comes at no additional cost to you.
- Packet loss - This means that bits of data are getting dropped or “lost” when communicated over the network, which can cause the entire command (whether that be connecting your device or trying to use your connected device to Live View or record motion) to fail. This "packet loss" can occur within your home (device to router) and/or within your connection from your router to your internet service provider's server.
- Privacy settings/Parental Controls/Firewalls - While these are good to have in place for security purposes, you will want to make sure that they are configured in a way where they will not interfere with or impact your ability to connect your Blink system. It is important to note that the Sync Module and cameras each establish their own connection, so you will want to make sure that each individual device is allowed. Alternatively, you can try white-listing the device's individual MAC addresses. If you are unsure how to do so, your internet service provider can help.
- Duplicate SSIDs - When two networks in the same location have the same SSID/name, this can cause trouble with the Blink system, as it may try to connect to the other SSID instead of the one intended. This other instance of the SSID may be in a different location that is too far for reliable connectivity or have an incompatible network configuration altogether.

Blink Technical Support"
That is what Blink Support will do for you. They are outsourced to another country and run by scripts as you can see the reply was clearly a copy and paste.
They have no technical knowledge beyond sending copied and pasted instructions on how to format a usb stick (lol)
Do they really expect your ISP to be their customer service?
This has been going on since November. Most of the times they just ignore your emails so you have to call and ask for a supervisor to get beyond the minimum wage drop out employees.
I'd be willing to bet this company will not be around in 2 years time.

Worst "security" cameras ever
Worst "security" cameras ever. They lack the features of other cheaper brands. They're way more expensive. They often fail. They eat batteries quickly. Support is terrible and regurgitate prewritten responses if they bother to respond at all. They don't stand behind their products despite being an Amazon brand.
Regardless of the aforementioned complaints, I recently ran into an issue with my sync module and blink outdoor gen 3. It will not talk to the camera. I have factory reset it, changed wifi, tried various routers, but it still won't work. Support has respond once out of the 4 emails I have sent in the last two weeks with a generic canned response. They just don't care.

Keep trying you may just get it working
Blink Video Door Bell meant to work with Alexa. I only ever managed to get this system to work on the day I set it up nearly 2 years ago and since then I have missed numerous people at my front door get door chimes days after the event and have driving myself mad going backward and forward in the settings and instructions to get it to work. I left a Support Ticket on thier website and Blink has tried to help me but it still refused to work fully and I actually began to believe it was just me? I have now got it to work to a degree and can manage with it as it is, I need the doorbell and it is basically doing what it needs to, just keeping my finger crossed it does not destroy another USB stick.

Every update to the app has made it LESS user friendly, and the latest update completely broke it. Clips out of order, download clip function doesnt work, unviewed clip notifications count wrong and doesnt correct until closing/reopening the app.
Occam's razor leads me to believe that Amazon is intentionally tanking the Blink brand to drive sales of their more expensive Ring products.
If not, please explain to me how Amazon has been getting flooded with 1-star reviews detailing these problems for MONTHS (yet their aggregate review score on the Google Play store magically ROSE from 2.9 to 3.3) and hasnt taken any action.
How is EVERY tech publication ignoring this? Do they need those Amazon/Blink advertising dollars so badly they are turning a blind eye to this dumpsterfire??
ALL THEY HAVE TO DO IS ROLLBACK THE LATEST UPDATE. THEY REFUSE.
Buyer beware and PLEASE dont replace the system with Ring (otherwise you are rewarding bad behavior).
I recommend filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.

Blink has made their App unacceptable…
Blink has made their App unacceptable with the last update and I would encourage anyone looking for Security Cameras to buy something else. You have to scroll through yesterday’s events that you have Already seen before you get to today’s events. Also some unseen events you may have to scroll through over 100 previously viewed events before you get to them. Both of the last two app updates have only made the app worse.
