Contradictory to a lot of other reviews, I've actually had reasonably timely support to my queries from the CS team, the problem is that I believe it is a flawed product. Either my mini- camera or doorbell camera stop recording to the sync-module and cannot be resolved remotely, given I am away for 6 months of the year it means sending a member of the family round to try to reboot the system. When I query with the CS team, they blame my WiFi, but none of my other makes of camera have a problem with the WiFi?

Blink doorbell + sync module 2
Blink doorbell + sync module 2: The Blink doorbell does not work as intended or advertised. Customer service does not provide help beyond standardized trouble shooting (delete and add device) that is not specifc to the issues. The problem with my Blink is that it does not capture movement coming directly at the camera, i.e. anyone walking up to my house straight in front of and in full view of the camera. It does not capture people walking along the side of the house within the camera range. It captures people at my house - me, the mailman, deliveries - once the person is already up the steps on the porch. People walking on the sidewalk are captured once they reach mid-frame. Also, once it stops recording motion it will not restart recording for 10 seconds, minimum. This is a feature, not a setting I can reduce. Meaning lots of meaningful motion is never captured. My camera is set up well, the view is unobstructed, I don't have any settings interfereing with recording, and my wifi is great. I end up with 5 - 10 videos of cars driving by every hour, but only glimpses of people on my property. There is something wrong or cheap with the way the Blink works and the company isn't transparent about the product's limitations.

App not working with latest iOS upgrade
My camera system worked well until Apple updated their iOS software to version 17.2.1 Now the Blink app does not send me real time notifications, which is arguably the most important function. Apple insist that it is the responsibility to Blink to regularly update their app which would solve these issues.
The issue has existed now for some time and is a regular subject of online forums but the Blink technical Support seem unaware that this is a compatability issue that only they can resolve.
Instead the technical team simply go round in circles, giving the same, useless suggestions (i.e. reinstall the app, reboot the router, contact Apple, etc. etc.). Each answer is from a different agent who seemingly fail to read through the previous messages and repeat the same old suggestions which I have already pointed out to them fail to work.
Now, after contacting a senior Blink manager, the Blink Executive team themselves have confirmed to me that they are indeed aware of this issue and their developers are working to fix it. They have acknowledged that this is not for Apple to fix but for Blink to fix, something which I have been trying to tell their support team for weeks.
But even now, I continue to get the same useless suggestions repeated to me, despite me sending them a copy of the e-mail from their own senior team confirming that this is a known issue with Blink's compatability with the latest iOS version, which Blink techies are allegedly already working on.
It is a shame that the Blink app developers are taking so long to fix this fundamental issue with their app given how many iPhone users are facing these issues. There is no temporary work around to get live alerts back and until they fix this issue the system is not fit for purpose. In the meantime I suggest that the executive team tell their customer facing technical support team the reality so at least they will not be continuing to waste customers time by having them keep trying time consuming and inconvenient attempts at fixes that don't work.

Blink Customer Service - Non-exsisitant
When the Blink camera surveillance system works I have been pleased with it.
BUT, there appears to be no customer support.
I have filled in report tickets and not received a reply.
The telephone numbers given for assistance all resulted in "number unknown"
This is a terrible reflection on an Amazon company.
Be warned

Camera system from Blink
Camera system worked fine from new for a few months, then the free trial period ended this is when my problems started.
Let me explain, as the camera's are not reliable enough as a security syetem I was not prepared to pay the subscription and opted for USB storage, it should work but does not since Blick ended my free trial, it is now as good as useless.
I have been in contact with Blink many times via email but nothing they suggest works, they will not or can not explain why this has all happened since the end of the trial, the system did not work 100% before but now is less than 10%, very disapointed with Blink customer support, thanks for reading. Hit and miss reliability/quality of images
Hit and miss reliability, need 100% powerful WiFi, best camera quality is well below comptition. Only B/W night vision, sensitivity settings work on one camera but not another. Out door system a touch more reliable than indoor which is very poor. Whole system requires rebooting every few months but you have to guess when. Don't waste your money, pay a bit more and get a system that works reliably.
