I bought the mini cameras for my summer home from Best Buy. They are horrible. They only work randomly and it isn't my connection. Everything else running off my wifi works fine. The video is also poor. They also have a delay when recording. I use Nest in my primary home and they work much better. Very disappointed with my purchase.

The recordings are spotty, the picture is not the best, You can't arm one camera and leave the rest unarmed (say you leave you animal inside but you want the camera outside armed but not inside so your animal doesn't keep setting it off. It's been the final one that led me to leave this review was my doorbell camera stopped working it would not reboot I tried numerous things and so finally I called after chatting for hours not getting anywhere I called the customer service and the person was very nice we walked through a bunch of different things even though I told them I've already tried them all he wanted me to do it again that's fine he told me that they decided they'll give me a new one and that they'll send a prepaid one to return that one you'll have in five to eight days. Well 10 days go by still nothing so I called again they said that they have not been able to ship it out yet because they're backlogged and that they will get it shipped out and I should have it in 5 to 8 days well another 10 days go by maybe 11:00 and I call again this time they said they can't tell me when it'll be shipped out I said why can I order one on Amazon and have it the next day but you guys can't get one and you're the company they had no explanation all they could say was that they don't know when it will ship out. I told him then I'm going to return it through Amazon and get a new one that way and they said that would work fine but it's been too long and so Amazon only wants to give me $19 back for it because that's what I paid for it when it was on sale and I have to pay $70 for a new one and they won't give me a discount. I think this is ridiculous they're not standing behind their own products and their two quick and eager to sell the new ones to other people and not even replace the ones that are not working correctly for existing customers that have purchased numerous cameras through them. Not good customer service at all I even was promised to call back from someone in upper management because I was so pissed off about it and I never got any call back it's been over a week. The customer service is not very good at all. Hopefully this helps someone from decide if they're going to buy this product cuz I wouldn't.

Where to begin but to say do not buy Blink. The cameras stop working after a few months, the doorbell cam was working fine for a good 6 months then after a while it started taking longer to turn on meaning by the time you try and acknowledge someone at the door they are long gone. Reached out to support who were useless and did not care. The usual turn it on and off, reset the modem etc. that I had already executed prior to reaching out. Explained all that at the beginning of the chat and over one hour later Ian had be repeatedly doing the same thing. One out of 3 cameras work the third is a newer one so I am waiting for that to fail as well. It’s not a security camera more like a toy. Will be buying a different brand and disposing of this. Glad I did not continue the subscription. Buyers beware. Asked for an email address to complain and told they no longer accept emails but welcome to try and old email address…. Perplexed…If you are in Australia report your issues to the ACCC. The more I’m reading about Blink the worse it gets and this makes me furious. Let’s get this product off he shelves

Honestly really disappointed in the company. I purchased about $400 worth of cameras and within 2 months I had gone through 2 lots of batteries. At around $5 per battery and each camera requires either 2 (outdoor cam) or 4 (doorbell) it’s bloody expensive. Plus you have to pay a subscription. I contacted the support team to figure out why the batteries aren’t lasting. All of my settings are correct, they couldn’t quite figure out. They asked for a photo of the batteries I’ve been using about 2-3 weeks ago, sent through a photo of the actual batteries inside the camera, energizer AA lithium, and now just radio silence. I have emailed them another 3 times and have received absolutely nothing. Biggest waste of money.

These people steal your money and give you the run around. Do Not purchase

Rediculous customer service with Blink. I have called probably 5 times over the same camera. All 5 times getting so angry with the runaround that I end up hanging up. Thought i would try again today...30 minutes on this call being told my wifi is the problem while I have many other cameras and electronics working on the same wifi! Reset this. Reset that. Unplug this... hold this button while you unplug that. Unscrew the back of your camera for the 12th time today and stand in your head! I'm not even sure why i bother answering the phone other than to just let them make me mad!

Wish I could give 0 stars! I have NO subscription, but get notifications if there is movement outside. When I open app to view camera it just clocks and times out. ALWAYS! Product is useless unless you pay them more $ to use. Don't recommend. Buy something else!
