Buyer beware. Purchased two cameras given generally positive reviews. Both worked fine for several months. No issues. Always dependable. And then the first went down and now the second. Same issues, won’t maintain connection to the module. So locations that worked fine for months now don’t. I can maintain mediocre connection by locating cameras almost on top of the module. But those locations aren’t optimal for the security reason purchased. The original locations worked fine for months as noted. No change in internet provider or any other shift in internet service or connection. Customer service recommendation is to talk with internet provider. Internet provider will just tell me it’s the camera, typical. No worries about IA taking over the world any time soon. Can’t even keep cameras operation where needed. Very disappointed. Luckily this all occurred ahead of any other purchases. I was about to purchase two additional cameras. That won’t be happening now.

The video feed from the cameras take too long to load in real time so you can communicate with someone at your door, so if it's a deliver driver and you want to tell then you're on your way, you'd be better off running to your door that waiting for the app to allow you to communicate with that person. The app has a tendency to just not send you a notification when someone's at your door. But the worst part is just how little the customer support team cares about offering support, and they'll drag out the process with nonsensical and pointless questions, rather than just looking at the logs to find out what went wrong.

One of the big mistakes in my life was to by a Blink security system. It worked fine for 2 weeks and then suddenly stopped working. Went through an exhaustive series of help suggestions to no avail, and when I suggested that the system was faulty or damaged, they said I was out of warranty to return it. DON'T BUY A BLINK SYSTEM!

The customer support, makes you out to be thick which I'm definitely not. I have a blink doorbell and it's been letting in water. It won't detect anyone either passing or coming to my door . Firstly the support asked me to move the bell to somewhere not exposed to rain . I suggested inside as that's the only place not exposed to rain at my front door . They then said that the door and I quote - Be advised that the doorbell is an IP54 weather-resistant rating certified so it is alright if the device will be exposed to minor water exposure. Well I suggested that the only sell them in warmer place like Egypt, Australia or Las Vegas. I stay in Scotland so we don't have minor rain here , we have normal to extreme. The guy I spoke to at customer service is Michael Rodriguez. Basically his responses are SHORT, SWEET AND USELESS. Please if you stay in a wet climate don't buy the doorbell, do what I should've done , paid a little more and bought a ring doorbell

These suck plain and simple When you need them the most they fail consistently. By the time you get it to finally work whoever was at the house is in the car driving away. It has nothing to do with wi-fi connection. Here is how it goes. Camera triggered, review clip and see someone at house, quickly click to live view to talk and you get this the whole time... "Another action is in progress wait a few minutes"... Annoying and useless.

We have blink security at 2 homes. Within the last 6 months the app has shown high numbers of alerts, which were consistently wrong. When we disable one home we still get camera alarms for the disabled home that shows under both homes at the same time. Customer support has been a waste of time. They acknowledge they have a problem with their app showing the wrong alerts and cameras alerting when a location is disabled and say they open a ticket,but don't give you a ticket number and say DON'T WORRY WE WILL FIX IT AND YOU DON'T NEED TO CALL BACK AND YOU CAN TRUST US!!! That was for the last 6 months and they never reconnect you or resolve the issue. Up to that point the system was very reliable, but they obviously are no longer supporting their customers, even though we pay for the service. We have a Ring doorbell which is absolutely great and you can count on the company for full support. Also check the internet for all the complaints about Amazon Blink. If they don't fix the issues soon I will be dumping all of mine and would never recommend to buy a BLINK system. Amazed that Amazon doesn't care about their reputation, since the internet reflects they still own Blink. You also can't reach their Corporate office. BUYER BEWARE AND READ ALL THE REVIEWS FIRST.

Absolutely rubbish they spend more time not working than being switched on. Lithium Batteries run out every week. So I bought rechargeable lithium and that didn’t help either. These really are terrible don’t buy them.
