Does not load when someone is at the front door. It will only turn on when the person leaves.. Kinda defeats the purpose of this camera.

It takes so long to get the video to show on your phone that the camera is completely pointless. Anything that set off your motion alert and anyone that rings your doorbell is gone before you can respond.

The blink camera went through $24 worth of Duracell batteries and $20 worth of lithium batteries batteries in six months. I have had multiple shutdowns had to reset the doorbell camera hundreds of times because it would just go right through the batteries. This last time I tried to put on the third set of lithium batteries it didn’t even work. The Customer Service well they’re told what to do and it’s horrible. I would not give this camera a one star rating if I could it would be a half a star. Too many issues with motion detection, too many issues with video quality too many issues with going through batteries unless it’s direct wired and even when it is direct wired it’s the front doorbell still goes through batteries! You get what you pay for, and unfortunately I would never purchase blink products again!

Just when you think this company and its services couldn’t get any worse, today (17/09/25) they send an email stating: ‘Blink is making several changes that may impact your ability to access the Blink Home Monitor app’ —It appears from 29/09/25 (12days time!!) you may indeed have the blink cameras that you have purchased, but they’re simply just going to collect dust because you WONT be able to access or use them! Certainly not for their intended purpose. Blink proceed to suggest you purchasing newer alternative devices to collaborate with their new app changes. —reasonable with the current cost of living and tax increases *sarcasm* The email then continues: ‘While we recognize the inconvenience this may cause, please understand that this decision was made with the best interest of our millions of customers in mind.’ —THIS IS A CLEAR BREACH OF CONSUMER RIGHTS AND EQUALITY RIGHTS.. AND IS CERTAINLY MORALLY QUESTIONABLE. Blink continue to take advantage of customers as the area they exist still remains unregulated -hence the poor customer care, sub standard products and zero escalation process for complaints. A V O I D this camera company!

Blink products and services are ABSOLUTE JUNK! I have 3 cameras and 2 sync modules, I also pay for the premium subscription (which will be increasing in the very near future). NEVER, NEVER, NEVER has their been a time where every component of my system has functioned properly all at the same time. I have never been so disappointed in a product like I have with blink security cameras. The only reason I have them in the first place is because they were a gift. I highly suggest you look at alternatives!!!
