I like the blinds, but
I like the blinds. We have light filtering and black out cordless cellular shades. They work well, until they don't. We have had 2 of our shades, when we pull them down, to have the string/cord break. I tried to fix the first one, but it is not possible. So, we had no choice but to replace them with new ones. We had, I believe Levelor shades ( similar to the cellular shades we have now) before, in our previous house, but never had a problem with any of those. If more break, we may just need to replace with Levelor.

Measurements
Although I checked and had the installer verify my measurements the blinds do not descend to the bottom sill. There is about a 1/2 in gap at the bottom no matter who the blinds are adjusted. When the sun shines on that window there is glare at the bottom. Not the end of the world but also not desirable.

In some cases, the internal cording can be a bit tight when the blinds are new and may need a short period to relax. Just ok
Shipping time was good. Custom measurement good. Disappointed that the headrail doesnt match the blind color. Quality of the internal workings not good. Very loose control and feels/sounds more like an aluminum blind.

The option to have the wand on the…
The option to have the wand on the right side is a critical part for 2.5” wood blinds. It does not seem to be a big deal to make tgat option when buying blinds. A template would also help so the brackets are installed to avoid compenents that restrict squeezing to secure in brackets.

Clark, thank you for sharing your feedback. We completely understand how important right-side wand placement can be, especially depending on room layout and obstructions. The blinds you purchased unfortunately do not offer the ability to switch the wand placement. At this time, the only 2.5" wood blinds we sell that do allow wand side selection are our LEVOLOR or Performance Wood Blinds 2 1/2" Wood Blinds. The fabric I received was not black or light filtering. It was gray and blackout.
