Thank you for your honest review, Eric. We tracked down your order and saw you purchased our BioNutrient Foaming Face Wash, which is designed specifically for dry skin. It's a clean formula with only 12 ingredients, including several moisturizing botanicals (Glycerin, Coconut Oil, Green Tea). But everyone's skin is different, and occasionally someone may have a negative reaction to a particular botanical. While we are confident this wash is a great choice for most men with dry skin (it recently won the SPY Man Award for Best Face Wash of 2020) we are always refining our formulas and we will keep your case in mind as we continue that effort. Hi Kiara, Thank you for the honest feedback! We are sorry that the products did not all work out for you and your boyfriend. The items you purchased are full of natural ingredients like Honey and Shea Butter that should moisturize and repair hair & skin, not cause dryness. But on rare occasions, a reaction to one of these botanicals (like Aloe Vera) may cause contact dermatitis or an allergic-type reaction that lessens or even counteracts what should its beneficial hydrating effects. We’re sorry to hear that. There are of course external factors to consider that causes a dry scalp, and some include showering with hot water (which can damage follicles and dry out scalp), irritated, oily skin, and using a hair dryer too close to the scalp. Our HydroBlast Moisturizing Shampoo could be a better choice for dry scalp. Additionally, it's always a good idea to use in combination with a hydrating conditioner like our HydroBlast Moisturizing Conditioner, or even our superlight Hair Hydrator leave-in conditioner.
