Black SpectaclesReviews of blackspectacles.com

Black Spectacles came highly recommended from my peers and their recommendation proved to be more than accurate! In preparing to undertake the ARE's I exclusively used Black Spectacles material for my prep. I have been in the field for over 15 years so I was able to utilize the video lectures and practice exams to prepare for the tests. What I really liked about the practice exams were two-fold. One the accuracy to the tests taken, and two, the feedback and breakdown on the sections where you were deficient. You're able to quickly access the sections where further study was required. I passed all six sections on my first attempt and I believe Black Spectacles played a vital role in making that happen. I highly recommend the use of Black Spectacles to assist you in ARE prep!

#1 resource used to pass my licensure exams

Great resources

I did use Black Spectacles ARE Prep for PPD and PDD for the last months and it was a great experience. Very interesting and intuitive tool. Thanks so much..

This is an excellent platform that provides additional study resources outside of the heavy text-based studying in other materials. The lectures provide a good base to the topics and the practice exams do an excellent job emulating the real thing. This is a great resource for studying, however additional material has been needed to round out and balance overall knowledge going into the exams.

I found the practice exams to be the most helpful. The videos are informative but too general at times.

Very easy to understand videos, great format, site is user friendly on PC and mobile. Highly recommend.

Very good start for base of studying, still needs to be supplemented with other sources, especially for PA, PPD, PDD, & CE. Could be more detailed for the more complex exams. The practice tests are very useful.
