So far so good! Signing up was very easy. Although I was surprised that it didn’t ask for current veterinary information/contact details. I have Banfield Optimum Wellness Plan for my cats (which only covers annual vaccinations/office visit/teeth clean etc) so I’m hoping that this coverage will pick up in case of an emergency illness or accident. I’m so pleased and feel comforted to have this insurance.

My five stars is so far only based on the details of how Bivvy is structured to work and the actual sign-up process itself. As just having done so, I'm in my waiting period, but let's face it, with what it's meant for, I'm okay with not having to try it out or experience using it for quite some time! I have a third dog that I have another pet insurance plan with elsewhere, but he's much younger and that coverage includes routine and preventive care, along with a higher reimbursement rate. I was unable to affordably cover my two girls because of their ages. While I've been lucky that they're healthy and have had very few issues, it did bother me that if something major happened I could be facing very large vet bills. Anyone with a pet knows that one accident or illness can easily hit several hundred dollars or more. Just signing up and knowing that in a few weeks they'll be covered in the event of an emergency and that I'll have some assistance with the out of pocket costs has already given me some peace of mind. Thank you Bivvy, for this no-nonsense solution to a very big problem!
