Bitpay support is hard to communicate with, resolving an issue was a challenge but we managed after lots of messages

Update: customer service took care of the issue and I guess it was a glitch due to phone verification that this gift card requires. So it wasn’t instant but it worked eventually. The card can be used for payments in US including PayPal and Apple Pay. That’s a great plus. Do not use them to buy gift cards. After sending my bitcoins for Blinsky prepaid MasterCard , and waiting abs waiting I still did not receive it nor my bitcoins back. I cannot attach a picture here but it shows transaction under review up to 72 hours. Who needs this? They charged my bitcoins abs holding them while reviewing my purchase. What is there to review? My bitcoins? How can I scam them by sending my bitcoins to them? This is a bogus business practice. Do not use Bitpay to buy gift cards.

I have bitcoins at this account and I want to transfer this to an other wallet but When I try that they ask for a code ,I don,t understand what code. I tried to get help but its so very difficult and still can,t transfer my bitcoins.Its very annoying The solution was to reinstall the app with the 12 words to get a new code and than it works

Invertí en Bitpay una plataforma en Telegram, envié 400 dollares y supuestamente obtuve ganancias de más de 2.000 dólares pero para retirarlas de la wallet me piden 500 dollares más dizque para actualizar la cuenta. No se si es una estafa pero tienen mucha spersonas invirtiendo a diario, como hago reclamo para que me devuelvan mi dinero o ya lo doy por perdido?

I was given a refund by movo, and bitpay asked for my bitcoin receiving address which I gave and the invoice said 1-2 days for refund. I had my concerns on it because how in the hell bitcoin transactions take 2 days. Anyways I chose to keep quit, but now is third day and no refund has been processed. I wrote to their support and 24 hours now nothing has been replied. Weak customer service, very high fees, very slow and not phone number to reach to. I would give them below 1 star if trust pilot had one. Update Received my refund, but they reduced amount because btc has climbed which is ridicules. So the profits of the bull run days is taken by them not me. I will remove my 1 star and put 3 start for refunding, but I will not add the 2 stars because of the loses.

We used Bitpay as a merchant for a few years and were generally pretty happy with them. However, when we started to re-structure our payment systems and decided to integrate APIs instead of using hosted checkout pages Bitpay told us that they changed their policies and do not support/allow this anymore. This ultimately forced us to leave Bitpay.

Usually works but once when I sent the incorrect amount it took support 2 weeks to reply.
