Meine erste Trading App. 36h verwendet, danach 1000€ wieder entnommen. Die App geht gar nicht, in so einen volatilen Markt wie das Crypto Trading. Die angezeigten Kurse sind alles andere als aktuell. Tops wurden in der App gar nicht erreicht, alle Angaben mit langen Verzögerungen.

Updated 11. dec 2024. After almost 3 weeks I finally received my refund. So I changed from 1 to 2 stars. I used bit pay to purchase some goods online. They deducted the amount from my xrp wallet right away, eventhough the payment was declined by the Store. I have now been writing with support for 2 weeks, without geting my payment back. Replies from suport are mostly stardard replies, without reading the information I have sent. It even says on bitpay, that I have a refund awaiting. But I cannot acces it. After 10 days i am starting to think that my xrp are lost.

I am extremely disappointed with the support provided by BitPay. I was supposed to receive a refund of ~$71. Despite confirming that they would be issuing a refund of ~$71 in USDC to my Polygon (MATIC) wallet address, the refund never materialized. When I questioned their lack of follow-through, their support team provided false information with a couple links for their block explorer that didn't work and then had the audacity to send me a link to my own transaction on Polygonscan (dated December 23rd), claiming it was the refund. Despite the clear evidence that my wallet address has not received any funds (they can simply look at it through polygonscan but refuse to), the company stubbornly insists that they have already issued a refund. Update: After MONTHS, they sent me an e-mail claiming there was an error with processing my refunds and they were going to do it manually. After a couple days my refund was issued. While I will still leave a negative review because the whole situation was unacceptable, I appreciate that BitPay support took the necessary steps to rectify it, and the fact that the refund was processed is a positive outcome.

I had high hopes for BitPay. But, after two years of dealing with them, I'm done. First, remember, for 90% of the issues I faced, I was always on my own. There is no live person to help you with anything related to the app, the debit card, or a BitPay wallet. Believe me, you are on your own. The app and the wallet are "glitchy." Everyday holds a new experience. Most recently, I had to disconnect and then reconnect my Coinbase wallet, as my Coinbase wallets that are "connected" to the BitPay app stopped showing accurate balances. Also, the BitPay fees to withdraw to another wallet are ridiculously high. And to transfer funds onto your debit card are also crazy high (today, I attempted to transfer $10.00 onto my debit card...the fee: $10.45!!...yep...I needed $20.45 available, to transfer $10...ridiculous). I am now sticking with Coinbase, in the hopes that it will be user friendly to withdraw/deposit, and reasonable fees. In all honesty, I just wanted BitPay to provide an easy to use & affordable service, to facilitate simple Bitcoin & crypto transactions. What I got was non-stop irritation. I am forever done with BitPay.

Insanely high fees. AND I MEAN THIS! Pretty much my money is stuck in my account because they want me to pay 177% networking fees. Bruhh what?
