Bitcoin IRA promises to get you set up in your account in 1-3 business days. It is on their website. It has been 14 days and more than 3 business days but they have not put the $3000 I sent to them 14 days ago into my account balance. Also 14 days ago, they promised to refund me $1000 that I had sent to them by mistake back to my bank account. They have not done so. Bitcoin IRA is unethical, untrustworthy and I do not trust them with my money. Once your money is in their hands, you will have a hard time getting it back. They have been ignoring my emails. All I am getting are autoresponses now. So RUN away! I am hoping BBB will intervene for me. I hope I won't have to resort to legal means to get my money back. This has caused so much distress to me. I am trying to cancel my application and get all my money returned to me. If Bitcoin Ira wants to respond.

A very amateurish outfit. My 94 year old mother sunk money into it and now can't get it out. It's a black hole for your funds. The people running it don't know what the hell they're doing. Very poor management. A real Las Vegas scam.

I cannot log in to my account, the required verification code is not sent. None of the three phone numbers work. Did they go bust?

The fees were monthly, yearly and any purchases in and out. The big problem was when I tried to get my money out of BitcoinIRA. They dragged their feet for 5 months to send us our funds. During that time they kept giving us fees, but would not release our money. Steer clear.

very bad company transferred funds from American banks a week ago, they are not in the account with this bad company and do not return the money back to the account I am very dissatisfied with this company and do not recommend anyone to use it, run away from here

Scammers that will steal your retirement with fee’s 4% trading fees, monthly custodial fees, $300 fee to close an account with a lot of hoops to jump through. Complete scammers also very similar to Prime Trust IRA which scammed people out of retirements and filed bankruptcy.

Don't use this company. If you do some research you will see that a common complaint is that they do their best to hide their fees. This is 100% true. Let me just list the problems with this company. 1. The VP, Diego, straight up lied saying we had multiple phone calls and I said I wasn't interested in the fees. I chose not to watch a powerpoint presentation and nothing about fees were mentioned. We also only ever had one phone call. 2. The fees are HIGH. They take a large fee when you transfer the funds over. 3. They charge a % fee for any assets you have with them whether it's crypto or fiat. 4. They charge 4% per trade. That is an insane amount. They brag about being able to trade but with a 4% it would be very, very hard to make decent profits. Keep in mind this fee is just for 1 transaction. If you buy and then sell you are looking at 8%. Imagine getting a 10% gain on a trade, which is good, but have it end up being 2%. This fee is so far out of the norm. But that isn't the only barrier for trading. 5. Each trade can take 48 hours to complete. Crypto prices are volatile. There is no way to reliable trade it with a 48 hour window before the transaction goes through. Whether real exchanges you can buy and sell instantly(for very, very low fees btw). When trying to sell my crypto the fees made it that I had to keep making sells that were pennies because the fees made it impossible to sell 100% at a time. 6. Getting my money out of their account took weeks. First, they wanted me to get a medallion stamp thing or I had to snail mail them a copy of a transfer request. They did not require anything like this to start my account. It took them a few days after receiving it before they contacted me about doing a video verification call but the earliest appointment was a week away. I've transferred 401ks and IRAs before. This is the only company that did this. 7. When I originally signed up I asked if there were any fees for closing my account or pulling out money. I was told no. That was a lie. They charge a 300 dollar closing fee and I have to pay 35 dollars for them to send a check. That check will take 7-10 business days to arrive so it's not like they are paying for great shipping. Here is the deal. Don't use them at all. It costed me a lot of money. What I suggest doing is going with a self-custodian IRA. The one I chose is 15 dollars a month and that is the only fee. With that I basically can do whatever I want with the money whether it being transferring it to an exchange and basically doing the same thing as this company except everything is instant, has low fees and the fees aren't hidden. I can't rate this company low enough.

as of 20 May 2022, I have yet to get a reply from an email sent 4 days ago. Not impressed with service or responsiveness. They will take your money with no issues but when it comes to moving money out, THEY MAKE YOU JUMP THROUGH MANY HOOPS.
